How to make strawberry lemonade at home. Strawberry lemonade with basil. Strawberry lemonade with mint

Homemade lemonade is much healthier than store-bought lemonade; after all, it does not contain dyes or preservatives. And making this drink is quite simple. Lemonade can be made from fresh seasonal berries or frozen. I decided to make strawberry lemonade, it turned out not only tasty and aromatic, but also very beautiful and bright.

To make homemade lemonade, I took frozen strawberries and thawed them first. I didn’t drain the juice from the berries; it complemented my strawberry lemonade perfectly. You can take any sparkling water.

Wash the lemon and scald with boiling water. Pour filtered water into a saucepan, add sugar and put on fire. Boil the sugar mixture for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and cool completely.

Place the strawberries along with their juice into the blender bowl. If you use fresh berries, wash them and dry them. Squeeze the juice from one lemon and add to the strawberries. Blend strawberries with lemon juice until smooth.

Pour sugar syrup, berry puree and sparkling water into the pan. Mix everything well. Before serving, add pieces of ice to the carafe and pour in our lemonade.

Serve strawberry lemonade. For children, I pour lemonade into small bottles and insert cocktail straws.

How to make homemade strawberry lemonade

The advantage of this recipe is that you can vary the ingredients at your own discretion, not only replacing the quantity, but also influencing the composition, for example, using lime instead of lemon, and adding brown sugar instead of white.

  1. We wash the strawberries, let them drain in a colander, and then remove the stems. We wash the mint and also leave it to dry on a towel. Wash the lemon and cut it into mugs.
  2. Grind one half of the berries in a blender, cut the other into halves. Combine strawberry puree, slices, lemon and mint in a saucepan.
  3. In another bowl, dilute the sugar syrup - completely dissolve the grains in 200 ml of very hot water and pour it over the berries and fruits. We leave everything to steep under the lid for 20 minutes, and then add the remaining cool water.
  4. Keep the strawberry lemonade covered at room temperature or, if it is very hot, put it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
  5. Strain the finished drink through several layers of gauze so as not to miss small strawberry seeds and pour it into a decanter. Serve chilled.

You don’t have to chop the strawberries, but then the taste will be less intense, but it will be easier to strain the lemonade. If the carafe is transparent, you can put a few berries in it for decoration.

Sparkling strawberry mint lemonade

As in the previous recipe, we use the same proportions. The drink turns out to be incredibly tasty and healthy, which is especially important for children.

  • Chop the strawberries - this time you can use all of them.
  • We cut a lemon (or lime), combine everything with washed mint leaves, which we also chop so that they give flavor faster.
  • Prepare 200 ml of syrup and pour hot fruits and berries in a saucepan.
  • Let it sit under the lid for at least 3 hours, and then strain through a thick layer of gauze.
  • We dilute the resulting berry infusion with sparkling water from a bottle (1 - 1.5 l) - the main thing is that it is not too carbonated. You should pour the soda in portions so as not to overdo it and make the drink tasteless.

Serve the finished homemade lemonade with strawberries and ice immediately before the gas escapes. Bon appetit!

History of lemonade:

Since the 17th century, lemonade has been a drink made from lemon juice and a large amount of water. Hence its name - Limonade. Lemon added), which means “limonized.”

In 1767, the English chemist Joseph Priestley invented a pump ( ssakator), which saturated the water with gas produced during the fermentation of beer. Industrial production of such pumps was started by Jacob Schwepp. And so the first company to commercialize carbonated drinks was J. Schweppe & Co”, founded by Jacob Schweppe, which later began producing waters with fruit and berry syrups. Since natural syrups were expensive, they began to be replaced with acids and essences.

Citric acid was the first to be synthesized, and lemonade became the leader in fruit sodas throughout the world in 1833, and “ Lemon's Superior Sparkling Ginger Ale"("Superior Sparkling Lemon Ginger Ale") was the first registered trademark of a soft drink.
