The main start of the festive program at various venues in Moscow is scheduled for 13.00. At 18.55, residents and guests of the capital, along with other regions of Russia, will hold a minute of silence in honor of the fallen Soviet soldiers.

On May 9, 2016, at 13.00 on Poklonnaya Hill, a concert of the Mariinsky Theater Orchestra will take place. From 16:00 to 17:45, a festive program "Autoradio" is expected, in which the twice Red Banner Academic Song and Dance Ensemble will take part Russian army named after A. V. Alexandrov.

From 19.00 to 22.00 on Poklonnaya Hill there will be a big concert, which will be attended by famous artists: Iosif Kobzon, Nadezhda Babkina, Stas Piekha, Diana Gurtskaya, Olga Kormukhina, Tatiana Ovsienko, Dmitry Dyuzhev, Ekaterina Guseva and others.

At 20.55, a large-scale action "Light of Memory" will take place on this site, within which the audience will be given 12,000 interactive bracelets that can change their color along with a huge design in the form of a flower and an Eternal Flame.

From 11:20 to 14:00 there will be performances of propaganda teams, a dance program and a musical performance "Roads of War" are planned.

At 15:00, a concert program will begin on Theater Square with the participation of extravagant stars.

At 19:05 there will be a performance of the Moscow Theater "School of the Modern Play" and a film concert. The concert program at Theater Square on May 9, 2016 will continue until 21:45.

Events for Victory Day 2016 in Moscow: Triumfalnaya Square

From 13:00 on Triumfalnaya Square, performances of the Moscow drama theater named after A. S. Pushkin, the children's center "Katyusha", the poet - the White Horseman.

In the evening, this site will host a military performance by the Moskontsert artists based on the works of the legendary Soviet poet and journalist Konstantin Simonov.

Immortal regiment 2016 Moscow: route

At 15:00, a large-scale Immortal Regiment procession will take place in Moscow: thousands of Muscovites will march from the Dynamo metro station along Leningradsky Prospekt, along Tverskaya, Tverskaya-Yamskaya streets, through Okhotny Ryad, Manezhnaya and Red Squares.

Members of the "Immortal Regiment" will carry with them portraits of their relatives who fought against the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War.

An extensive program for May 9, 2016 is also expected at VDNKh. The festive program there will begin at 11:00. On the site near the Friendship of Peoples fountain, from 12.00 to 19.30, songs of the war years will be performed. Ekaterina Guseva, Natalia Rozhkova, Alexander Sklyar and the Central Military Band of the Ministry of Defense of Russia will take part in the festive concert.

From 10.50 to 20.30 on the Industrial Square, military films will be shown on a large media screen.

At 20:30 Moscow time, a concert by Dmitry Hvorostovsky will take place at the Green Theater.

In pavilion number 18 from 12:00 to 21:00 there will be a program dedicated to the peoples of Russia and Belarus who defended their freedom together, and at 22:00 the celebrations at VDNKh will end with fireworks.

On May 9, 2016, Victory Day in Moscow, it will be possible to attend festive events and solemn programs in various parks of the capital: Tagansky, Lianozovsky, Goncharovsky, Babushkinsky, Izmailovsky, Vorontsovsky, Perovsky, Sokolniki, Kuzminki, Northern Tushino Park, 50th Anniversary Park October, the park named after Artem Borovik, the park "Aqueduct" and the Lilac Garden.
