In which group tatiana shamanina sings. Participant of the “Voice” Tatiana Shamanina: “When I leave a child, my heart breaks. Do you like current Russian pop music?

The vocalist of the Guru Groove Foundation with her daughter Siyana and her husband Egor visited the "Robostation" at VDNKh.

Tatyana Shamanina, the frontwoman of the Guru Groove Foundation, a cult group among Russian fashionistas, made her first public appearance with her two-year-old daughter Siyana at the Robostation exhibition. Star family gathered in in full force: accompanied mother and daughter loving father and bandmate, Yegor Shamanin. The musicians happily posed for the photographer, recalling funny stories from their childhood and sharing their impressions of a joint holiday.

The interactive exhibition "Robostation" at VDNKh is a project of the Corporation of Robots. Here, children and adults can immerse themselves in the world of engineering discoveries, communicate with charismatic and insightful robots, make their own virtual world and spend time in the daytime Robolager, where every child will feel like an inventor.

About childhood

My parents were engaged in construction, design, and technical things I always heard about. Such activities develop perseverance and intelligence in a person. This is very useful in everyday life. For example, I am too humanitarian, so I do not understand some technical points.

Already at a conscious age, when I was 20 years old, I began to study musical notation. The teacher explained to us that music and mathematics are related sciences, and everything is simple, you just have to divide and multiply by two. It was so difficult for me, I thought: “God, math again.” But when you start to act and get the first results, you understand why all this is necessary.

When I was little, my dad loved to take pictures. We had huge boxes with photographs at home, mostly urban landscapes with factory and industrial buildings. Once I took apart my father's Zenith camera. He said that his shutter began to jam, and I, with the best of intentions, decided to fix the breakdown. Then I dismantled the camera, then assembled it, and put the parts that did not fit back on a saucer and closed it in a sideboard.

I took apart all the dolls to see what they had inside, unscrewed their heads. I remember how the hair was sewn with a line from the inside. I forced my mother to pull out these stitches with my finger and studied all the components.

About technologies

For many parents, a gadget is an opportunity to take a break from the child. We are not in favor of such an approach. I give Siyana an iPad when she can't get behind my suits, tassels and curling irons, and before the performance - a matter of hours. Then she opens the video of our performance and watches it around.

We are for communication, therefore children's camps are important, they help children with self-determination, reveal their true nature. Plus, it's always interesting to look at many processes from the inside. I myself would gladly sit next to some smart uncle and disassemble the laptop. The most important thing is to find such opportunities.

I dream that someone will invent a vacuum cleaner that collects exactly the dust. So that it does not make noise when the child is sleeping. Today I dreamed that I invented it, but then I found many flaws in it and refused to further popularize it.

About children's camps

The only camp I was in was a day camp - it was close to home, and my grandmother could watch us. It is very difficult for a mother to be separated from her children, to leave them to a stranger even for a few hours. There must be staff who love children - such people can be seen immediately. Children feel good whether a person is good or bad.

Siyana is now two years old, so of all the activities at the exhibition, she was most captured by the designer in the Technopark zone. She dismantled all the wheels, checked what it consisted of. Our daughter is not brought up in flower conditions, the girl is very brave and purposeful. She also really liked the giant astronaut dog with a big glowing heart. Emotions remained positive.

For kids younger age here you need to make a room where you are allowed to break everything without harm to yourself and others. And the older guys can just fix all the breakdowns. Such would be the continuity of generations.

Everything that was created for the sake of children, and not for profit, will cause great resonance. We miss the sincere acts that make people happy. If this is the case, then life becomes more pleasant, so I am very grateful to the creators of the camp for the idea and its implementation. When we grow up, we will definitely come to RoboCamp.

You can rightfully be called "ubiquitous": you open fashion shows, "flicker" in glossy publications. How did you manage for relatively short term become so popular among the fashionable public?

First of all, this is the merit of the executive producers in the person of Anna Volkova and Nadezhda Novosadovich. They have become our driving force. In fact, before the appearance of these people, we did not take our project seriously. We just made music for music, not for business. I had a fairly extensive activity as a vocal producer, I have been teaching vocals for ten years now. The guys played with almost all domestic stars as session musicians. I never thought that I would be seriously involved in the music business as a singer. Before that, there was experience in Russian show business, let's say, not entirely positive.

Can you tell me more?

I started with the group "Party" in 2000. The project lasted only two or three years. We were very similar to the Strelka group, and I was one of the five girls who sang, and everyone else danced and opened their mouths. At some point, it became completely unacceptable for me. Having put a bullet in the chapter "participation in a primitive show business", I took up only vocal production. Only sometimes we were going to just play with the guys, "take the soul away." Then there was the "Vdoh" festival, where I performed for the first time with my own compositions. After the festival, videos of our performance got into the network. This is how Volkova and Novosadovich found out about us, they believed in us and convinced us that it was possible to go against the generally accepted format and promote our music in Russia already at the business level. Thanks to Anna's managerial activity, thousands of Facebook users around the world learned about us, and Nadezhda's connections in show business allowed us to become popular among our colleagues. Designers, photographers, fashion platforms wanted to cooperate with us.

How was the current team formed?

It was a long process, the formation took place over five years. The team has been around for a very long time. different people, with many of us it was simply not on the way. And in 2008, we had a wonderful bassist who reanimated us in the full sense of the word. This is the person who hears my sketch and makes the music that I want to hear. A terrific keyboardist appeared who, unfortunately, now lives in London, but our cooperation continues to this day. The composition that is now is the merit of my husband. Egor put a lot of effort into this, he brought together all these musicians - top-class specialists, each of whom is a star of the national musical Olympus.

Your debut album will be presented very soon. What will surprise you?

Let's surprise with the sound. The concept of "quality sound" in our country is not familiar to many teams. We can sacrifice everything, anything, but not the sound. Many of the clients we work with are surprised and sometimes resented by the amount of time our soundcheck takes. In order to "rebuild" the team, which has 8 musicians, we need at least 3-4 hours. As Michael Jackson said: "I want to hear LP sound at my live concerts!" We want to achieve the same.

Tell me, which venues in Moscow do you remember the most?

I really liked our last performance at the "Marusya" restaurant. Despite the fact that there is no specialized stage on this site, the architecture is very well thought out, the acoustics are wonderful. It's incredibly difficult to perform in restaurants. In "Marusya" we sounded great. It was very cool in the new location of the Ginza Project "Kilim". We have played there twice already. The concert that we gave in honor of the opening of the new Noa restaurant was bright. The site was literally "bursting at the seams". On the opening night, 1200 people visited it! If we talk about clubs, I remember the performance at the "Discoteque" club. Work in the film industry has allowed you to significantly expand the boundaries of the audience, and the country has heard you.

Do you plan to continue writing for films?

It's very interesting to voice people's feelings. When we were working on the film "On the Hook" directed by Natalya Uglitskikh, the requirements for musical accompaniment sounded like this - I had to write directly under the picture. Two completely different scenes, two radically different emotions - a violent sex scene and a drowning scene. We also worked on the film "Affair with Cocaine" directed by Gennady Sidorov, which will be released in the fall of 2011, in which Ksenia Sobchak played the main female role. For this picture, I was asked to write something bright, dynamic about Moscow for the scene of driving through the city at night. And the second single, "My Baby", became musical arrangement a scene in which we play ourselves, perform in a nightclub.

What is the feeling of watching a movie with your music behind the scenes?

I am a terrible critic. For me, everything I do is not good enough, so when I looked at the picture, I made out every little thing, every sound. To be honest, I've watched it twice. Of course, our film industry is different from the Western one. I sincerely believe that someday the sound quality will reach the world level.

You always appear in extravagant outfits. Who is in charge of your style? What brands do you prefer?

I'm a wild music fan and nothing else interests me. I'm frankly too lazy to take care of myself, I'm too lazy to look at magazines, follow trends. Therefore, I am very grateful to Anya Volkova, in whose hands I calmly "surrender" and on whom I rely. She opened the fashion world for me, introduced me to excellent stylists, photographers, designers.

Do you often do production famous performers. Who have you already worked with?

After "our rocket took off," Guru Groove was talked about on the sidelines. I don't like to boast and brag, let other people do it, but young and promising teams really started coming to us for production. I want to say right away that we are not engaged in "stamping projects" - we have a very selective approach. The person who is engaged in production in our team - Gena Lagutin - will never undertake to make a song a la "two stomps - three slams" in his life. This is his principled position. Gena worked with the Degrees group, in my opinion, the Blackberry project has already started, now there is a very close cooperation with Elka, Polina Gagarina, Karina Koks and other performers. People are attracted by the quality of the product we provide. I want to become a music boutique that sells unique musical diamonds, I want to reveal the artist's individuality, and not just stamp it.

Which of your colleagues do you enjoy talking to the most?

We have a long relationship with Polina Gagarina: we studied together for a long time, she meets with the ex-drummer of our group. We have a very warm relationship with Irakli Pirtskhalava, because five years ago I worked with him for a very long time as a backing vocalist, as a sound producer. I don't have time to go to parties. Making music the way it should be is a very hard business. In general, I'm not very public, I like to stay a little aloof.

What establishments do you like to visit?

Establishments that serve vegetarian food. There are very few places in the capital where you can eat "not meat".

You became the first in the sky, gave an unplagd at an altitude of 10,000 meters. Don't want to make a performance underwater? Or fly into space?

The director of the film "On the Hook" Natalya Uglitsky had an idea to shoot a video for us under water. Let me tell you, the budgets are astronomical. Since we do not have investors and the project is self-sustaining, we decided to abandon this idea for the time being. As for the sky, incredible sensations: you fly and sing. These are positive, but strange emotions that cannot be described. You can only feel this kind of "grooving".

Do you love extreme?

I love a quiet holiday, I just love to contemplate, I love nature, I don’t like noisy companies, because it’s hard to concentrate there. I promote a healthy lifestyle: my husband and I have not eaten meat at all for 6 years, we do not smoke or drink. I want my rest to be useful both for the spirit and for the body, because my instrument is inside my body. I try to combine business with pleasure.

Do you have favorite countries for holidays?

I love Russia very much, I am a patriot! I also really liked Montenegro and Bulgaria: it is incredibly beautiful there, you can breathe easily and freely. In general, I can just go to the forest: we have a house in the Vologda region, sometimes my husband and our mothers gather there. The forest inspires me!

One of the brightest participants in the project "Voice" - Tatiana Shamanina - began musical career long before joining the project. In narrow circles, she has long been known as the soloist of the group Guru Groove Foundation, under which all hipsters washed the soles of their sneakers at the height of their era. In addition, the red-haired Tatyana Shamanina performed backing vocals with her current mentor, Polina Gagarina. In addition to her, at the blind auditions of The Voice, Grigory Leps and Leonid Agutin turned to the 35-year-old singer. It is noteworthy that earlier Shamanina claimed in an interview that the TV show was not for her and she had already passed this stage. V exclusive interview Tatyana told Life why she decided to speak to the mentors, and for the first time told about her family drama.

That's right, let them think so. They are more afraid - they do less stupid things. Kidding. I came to the project as an accomplished artist. I know better what is better and what is worse. We do not enter every room by opening the door with our feet. We ask consent in a friendly and respectful manner. By my actions, I do not let the channel down, but I look decent and interesting. But at the same time, Polina checks very thoroughly and always asks about how I will look: what earrings, nails, what image, what emotion will I have. Besides, I am a very squeamish person. Terribly squeamish person. I don't trust anyone to touch me. This is my illness. I am very sharp in this direction. Hair is also a very intimate issue for me. Once on one of the main music competitions countries completely burned the back of my head and cut off a huge piece of hair. Here's the explanation: I only work with one person I trust a lot. It is important when a person feels you. And here the project is just a conveyor. It can look like anything from the outside. But the project does not forbid it. We do not go beyond what is permitted.

Then I was not ready, it was not relevant for me, and there was a lot of work in the group, and then I gave birth to a daughter. There was simply no time. Now I am mentally ready to accept victory or defeat - this is very important for the psyche of the artist. Now I'm cool in this porridge to cook. I worry, cry, hysteria and do not feel that I have a hole in my heart through which someone is sucking something out of me. Which means everything is correct. It's important to read the signs: a mountain is coming - meet it, if it doesn't want to go - wait a bit, it will come to you anyway. In addition, I am not the only one who has taken place here - there are a lot of ready-made artists in the Voice.

Indeed, this season the show organizers are often accused of in large numbers established artists.

I can explain it. The artist matures by the age of 30–35. Therefore, singers come here who can sing, can show their voice and use the project as a certain platform to expand their audience. They have the opportunity to say: "Friends, I'm here. I can give you joy, and no worse than those you listen to on the radio and watch on TV."

How do you work with Polina Gagarina, given that she is now in an interesting position? Does this affect her behavior?

I don’t know, I didn’t have any emotional moments. At least, such that I would like to wait out the hurricane of her emotions. Recently, she had very expressive remarks about the members, or rather their hairstyles. For example, before leaving, she radically changed the hairstyle of Misha Zhitov.

We don't have an industry, we don't have producers capable of working with such artists. They just haven't been born yet. There are no radio stations and TV channels that would support independent musicians, and there are a lot of them. In the West, the underground lives well, because they have an industry and they can develop just like their pop friends. I heard a statement in my direction so many times that I am from Russia and therefore they cannot put me on a radio station. I was told: if you were a Western band - with pleasure. The problem is that everyone is afraid of the herd effect. It is clear that if you open this door, then other underground artists will follow you. They officially told me that they didn’t take it on the air only because they didn’t know what to say to the producers who work with musicians whose music we now hear from all irons. They said: "We will simply destroy the business. No one will give you such an opportunity." So we have to do this business ourselves.

That is, the mastodons of show business do not allow talented artists to develop?

It is an unwillingness to share and compete. The music industry is such a business when you have to constantly be on your toes and give out a product regularly. What product does our stage produce? Does it issue a product at all? When you watch music TV channels, the performances of many masters make you think. I remember being a little girl from the eighties and now I'm a grown woman with a baby, but forgive me, the scene hasn't changed at all. It's groundhog day. Recently, my husband and I watched one award, and I shouted out loud: "Lord, give me the strength to leave beautifully at one moment." You can talk about this endlessly. This is a multifaceted question. It's a shame people don't want to share. Or maybe they just have nothing to share, because their product does not come from a pure heart.

This is the very first song in my life, I just sat down at the piano, and it was very quickly born to me. When I found out that my dad was gone, I was preparing for the concert of Polina Gagarina, I was her backing vocals. I immediately flew home. After 9 days I came back and we played a concert. I couldn’t cry in front of my mother when my father was gone - that would have unsettled her even more. I had to deal with this alone.

How did your mother react to the song?

Mom is very difficult to listen to her, but at the same time she loves her very much. The song is too emotional for her and for me. You understand, when a person leaves in due time, you understand this departure and the fact that a person has done a lot and left behind. Our dad left suddenly, and it was the fault of the doctors. We still have a strong resentment and some moments still excite. My mother and I are experiencing the death of our father very painfully. I'm not afraid to sing a song. If there is a connection with dad - and I'm sure she is - then everything will be fine.

How did you lose your father?

It was a medical error: his kidneys and liver stopped working, and the doctors decided that he had jaundice. By washing the blood and restoring the function of the liver and kidneys, it was possible to keep a person alive. The heart could not withstand such a load, and there was a strong poisoning of the body with poisons.

Have you sued the doctors?

No, I was very busy with work. There was a big concert at Polina's, where I was responsible for all the backing vocals, and my mother was in a very serious condition. I quickly sold all the property and took it with me. She didn’t prove anything to anyone - you still won’t return a person.

Guru Groove Foundation is a team that is rarely seen on TV or heard on the radio, however, even without the participation of the main media promotion tools, the group in Russia is known and loved. Among the famous fans are Dima Bilan, Daria Poverennova, Leonid Agutin ... The list is long.

The soloist of the group Tatyana Shamanina told HELLO.RU about the off-air popularity and the ideal sound, which other musicians have been searching for all their lives, and GGF have already found.

Tanya, very soon - June 28 - your band will perform at the annual HELLO! within the framework of the Moscow Film Festival. Many guests traditionally come to the event, among them are the masters of the film industry: Nikita Mikhalkov, Vladimir Khotinenko... Aren't you scared? It will not be easy to get them to feel your creativity and go to the dance floor.

It's not scary, because our first major concert happened six years ago just as part of the MIFF. There were many Hollywood guests, Russian celebrities, and then we didn’t even have normal concert costumes. That's when it was exciting. (Smiling).

Then the Guru Groove Foundation gained popularity? I know that there are many of your fans among celebrities, although you do not appear on TV with the frequency of the Fabrika group.

I have known many representatives of show business for a long time. For example, as a backing vocalist, even before creating my own team, I worked with Maxim Fadeev and the Serebro group, collaborated with Basta for about 5 years, and my husband Egor studied with Dima Bilan.

It would be logical if, following Anton Belyaev, you went to the Voice project for fame. Why haven't you done it yet?

I'm not new to show business and I understand that on TV they won't let me do what I want. As a result, there will be the wrong sound, the wrong repertoire... Again, it is unlikely that I will be able to perceive the criticism of the mentors, and it is unlikely that it will be objective, because I am not a girl from the street, but a well-established artist, a professional. Judge for yourself, Polina Gagarina is two years younger than me and studied with me in college, I remember her quite "green". (Smiling.)

As far as I know, you Teacher Education, where did you manage to run into Polina?

That's right, after school I entered the Pedagogical University with the specialty "Teacher of History with in-depth study in English". All my childhood I was professionally engaged ballroom dancing, and I didn’t have the thought to sing. However, at the age of 16, it suddenly turned out that I had a beautiful voice, they began to invite me to various competitions, and I began to win. However, professional music education I didn’t have and I didn’t plan to connect my life with music then. Only by the age of 20 did she decide to go from her native Nizhnevartovsk to Moscow - to enter pop-jazz school, which Polina Gagarina entered two years later.

I arrived as Frosya Burlakova! (Laughs.) Music notation I didn’t know, I didn’t know how to play the instruments, I brought with me only a pile of diplomas received at vocal competitions. The teachers liked my voice, by some miracle I passed all the exams and entered.

Was the study of history in Nizhnevartovsk finished?

No, by the way. I completed my studies and ended up with two diplomas. But she remained in Moscow to study music.

Around the same time, in 2007, you got to Eurovision. Tell me about it.

I was a backing vocalist for the then new group Serebro, which was supposed to represent Russia at the international level. It was a risk, because then no one really knew the girls by sight, not only fans, but even colleagues in the shop. I remember that at the competition, another backing vocalist and I saw Philip Kirkorov and approached him with a request to take a picture with us. He looked - we are in concert costumes, bright - and unexpectedly admitted that he really likes our work, he is glad that we - Silver group- representing Russia this year. I had to admit that we are not the soloists of the group. (Laughs.)

But now you are unlikely to be confused with someone else. You have bright hair at all concerts, make-up, some incredible outfits. Where does such a love for bright images come from?

I just once caught myself thinking: everything that I see at the concerts of musicians who work in the same niche with GGF often looks rather dull. Sings, for example, the girl is very cool, but look at appearance- and there is nothing to catch the eye. So I decided that I would be bright.

Speaking of niche. Are you aware that among your listeners there is no clear understanding in what style you sing? Some people think you are indie musicians, others think you play jazz. Where is the truth?

As usual in the middle. I am not one of those abstruse indie musicians who try to explain their inexplicable music to the world. I think our genre is electro-pop. This is music accessible to the masses, understandable and therefore popular. Not jazz, not indie, not electro house. At the same time, I do not classify GGF as a stage, because, pardon the indiscretion, we simply have a different level in terms of the quality of music. We've made a name for quality sound and we're trying to live up to it. By the way, listeners also do not rank us among the Russian stage. People occasionally even address me in English, thinking that I came from behind a hillock, I swear.

But doesn't that narrow the circle of your fans? I remember how Anton Belyaev, talking about the informality of Therr Maitz, said: he is ready for the fact that not thousands, but hundreds of spectators will come to his concert, but they will be ready for his music, and not for the fact that Belyaev will sing Sting...

But he collected Crocus!

"Crocus" is not "Olympic".

I think it's a matter of time. (Smiling.) In general, yes, I agree with Anton. Do not lie to yourself in the pursuit of mass popularity.

On June 24, you have a concert scheduled in Moscow, where you will present new album. Tell about him.

This is an EP Over You mini-album, it will include only 4 tracks. If we talk about the sound, it will be a bit like the first record. Of course, we will definitely play old favorite songs. And we are also preparing a show before the show, a real theatrical performance from the artists of the Tall Brothers team. With their help, we will transfer part of the action from our new video (which we are about to present) to the auditorium. And musician Andrey Timonin will play a rich author's DJ set. People who come to us will become participants in an unusual concert.
