When he realized that his skill had become more solid, he decided to try himself in the capital's musicals.. Thus, he danced in Notre Dame de Paris, Love and Espionage, I am Edmond Dantes, where pop stars shone. In addition, he worked with S. Lazarev, Irakli, Alsou, V. Topalov, etc. He was on tour with him in other countries.

Since 2006, he performed as part of the show ballet of the Israeli singer Rita, after which he was waiting for work in China.

Ilshat, throughout the DANCES project, you remained one of the brightest participants. Were you sure of victory from the very beginning?

Of course not! I saw the level of the guys, I understood that everyone has their own “horse”, that they are all energetic, purposeful, ambitious and self-confident people. Everyone had a goal - to win. From the very beginning, I tuned, rather, to the fact that if I fail to reach the end, I will try to accept it.

- What did you want to say or prove with your participation?

Before, when I watched the show “So you think you can dance”, I always wanted to plunge into the same atmosphere. There were no projects of this level in Russia at that time. When there was a chance to get on the project "DANCES", I firmly decided to pass the casting. I wanted to work with choreographers, try a variety of genres and directions, express myself, realize myself, be a student, fulfilling all the tasks. For me it was a very big job. I worked on myself like never before.

- What was this work?

Every week we were given a new and always different choreography. It was necessary to quickly switch emotionally, physically and have time to prepare for performances. There was always very little time, but we all tried very hard, gave all the best.

If before the project there were moments when I could emotionally vividly experience something, then here I tried to practice humility and restraint. He directed all his attention only to the production and did not spill his energy. After all, as soon as you start to grab onto the little things, a chain reaction occurs and it all pulls down. Foolishly, you can end up in an undesirable situation for yourself.

You felt like one of the most calm, balanced and collected participants. How did you manage to enter such a state at moments of overload? And what is the practice of humility?

In my life I am quite calm and laconic. At some moments, he simply took and abstracted from what could emotionally knock him out. This needs to be understood and applied.

The practice of humility is to count to ten before giving any evaluation and saying it out loud. I just tried to think objectively, to realize that a lot of work is going on on the project, everyone is tense, tired, and that this can affect the nerves. When you are focused on calmness, you are sort of a little above it, switched only to what needs to be done here and now.

- You are in excellent physical shape. How much time a day do you devote to training, rehearsals?

Everything depends on the situation. When I have a lot of energy and free time, I can work out longer. But mostly I work hard before master classes, come up with something new, compose.

It is important to strike a balance between work and leisure. If you're overworked, nothing good will come of it. It is even appropriate to allow yourself to do nothing all day or to change the situation. But at the same time, it is important to keep the thought in mind: in order to grow in one thing, it is advisable to practice daily, feeling the body, developing and honing your skills. If, for example, the actor left for a year, it is not clear where, then when he returns, he may become even more filled. But the dancer cannot afford such pauses. It's very easy to get out of shape.

-Is it true that you were engaged in different martial arts? Why did you choose dance in the end?

Yes, for two years I completely went into sports: wushu, kung fu, boxing, swimming. It seems to me that many in childhood have such a period of searching for themselves and walking through sections. After all, there are many temptations around, so many interesting things are happening.

After a two-year pause, I already consciously entered the dance, and never left it. This choice seemed to be sitting in the subconscious all this time. Pursuing different types sports, I was constantly thinking about dance. And one day the decision came.

My teacher came to my school, found me there and said: “We need you like air, in a week we are leaving for Moscow for international competition". I immediately answered “yes”, I had no objections or doubts, I was waiting for this sign from above.

In the stories of successful people about their own development, there is often a certain mentor. Who brought you back to dance, and was that teacher with a capital letter?

Bykov Victor Yakovlevich - my first teacher. And although there were other teachers before him, it was he who put his soul, worldview, strength into me, set me on the right path, taught me to communicate, live, love life, enjoy it, appreciate everything that is and constantly learn new things. He made me fall in love with dance, knew how to use the healthy competition between the boys in the right direction. I am very grateful to him. By the way, we still meet to this day, he is proud of me, and I am proud that he met in my life.

Then, already in Moscow, I had a second strong mentor - at the School contemporary choreography Alexander Shishkin. There I mastered such a direction as modern jazz, after which it was easy for me to get into the ensemble of the musical Notre-Dame de Pari. Since then, my dancing has become versatile.

"Everyone's mission is to create"

- Now you dance a lot in the contemporary style. Is this your favorite destination?

One of my favorites. I've always liked to look for myself in different styles, I constantly mastered something new: folk dance, classical, step, modern choreography, modern jazz, hip-hop. In the contemporary style, I was "hooked" by its absolute freedom, you can live on stage, emotionally feel the dance.

-I know that you still sing...

I have already mentioned the period when I worked in the musical as an ensemble artist. This position is received only by those who pass three levels of selection - dance, vocal and acting. For me, it was a great school and a serious experience, since I learned to sing while working on the same site with talented vocalists. Then I recorded tracks, there were joint performances with my rapper friends and solo performances. Now I continue this practice, it is interesting to me and has turned into a kind of hobby. I hope it develops into something more serious.

But first of all, I am perceived as a dancer, and this is true. I will always be associated with dancing. Perhaps in the future these two vectors will unite and some of my own productions and performances will appear. There is no limit to perfection in professional growth. For me, a good example in this regard is Yegor Druzhinin, who danced, and at the same time managed to stage performances as a director and choreographer in one person, to make films.

The possibilities of man are enormous. We are dancers only because we pay the lion's share of attention to this direction. If we would now start to engage in another kind of art, perhaps we would achieve no less success. It is important to love what you do, work on yourself and your discipline. And faith, desires and dreams are an incentive that will make you move without stopping.

Movement is life! And in it you definitely need to show yourself, your talent, knowledge, skills, otherwise all this can go out very quickly.

- And what about the mission, life purpose?

I think all this can be "packed" in one word - creation. To do good, to do something that can make other people follow the bright path. For example, such a project as "DANCES" makes many people think and, looking at this action, fall in love with dance. In any case, it makes life better: firstly, it is health, a good metabolism; secondly, an emotional outburst; thirdly, an environment of talented people; fourth, interesting ideas and projects.

I am glad that today dance is reaching a significant level, the attitude towards it is becoming more serious. There is no longer a concept of “dancing”, people see and understand that this is a great opportunity to express themselves and develop.
