An excerpt characterizing Amonkulov, Nigin

"Karataev" - Pierre remembered.
And suddenly Pierre introduced himself as a living, long forgotten, meek old teacher who taught Geography to Pierre in Switzerland. "Wait," said the old man. And he showed Pierre the globe. This globe was a living, vibrating ball without dimensions. The entire surface of the sphere consisted of drops tightly compressed together. And these drops all moved, moved and then merged from several into one, then from one they were divided into many. Each drop tried to spill out, to capture the largest space, but others, striving for the same, squeezed it, sometimes destroyed it, sometimes merged with it.
“This is life,” said the old teacher.
“How simple and clear it is,” thought Pierre. "How could I not have known this before."
- There is a god in the middle, and each drop seeks to expand in order to largest sizes reflect it. And it grows, merges, and shrinks, and is destroyed on the surface, goes into the depths and floats again. Here it is, Karataev, here it spilled over and disappeared. - Vous avez comprised, mon enfant, [You see.] - said the teacher.
- Vous avez comprised, sacre nom, [You understand, damn you.] - a voice shouted, and Pierre woke up.
He got up and sat down. By the fire, squatting on his haunches, sat a Frenchman who had just pushed aside a Russian soldier, and grilled the meat worn on the ramrod. Sinewy, rolled up, overgrown with hair, red hands with short fingers deftly turned the ramrod. A dark brown face with furrowed brows was clearly visible in the light of the coals.
“Ca lui est bien egal,” he grumbled, quickly addressing the soldier behind him. -… brigand. Va! [He doesn't care ... the robber, really!]
And the soldier, twirling the ramrod, looked gloomily at Pierre. Pierre turned away, peering into the shadows. One Russian prisoner soldier, the one who was pushed aside by a Frenchman, was sitting by the fire and waving his hand on something. Looking closer, Pierre recognized the purple dog, which, wagging its tail, was sitting beside the soldier.
- Did you come? - said Pierre. - Ah, Pla ... - he began and did not finish. In his imagination, suddenly, at the same time, connecting with each other, a memory arose of the look with which Plato looked at him, sitting under a tree, about the shot heard in that place, about howling dogs, about the criminal faces of two Frenchmen who ran past him, about the shot smoking gun, about the absence of Karataev at this halt, and he was already ready to understand that Karataev was killed, but at the same moment in his soul, coming from God knows where, a memory arose of an evening he spent with a beautiful Polish woman, in the summer balcony of his Kiev house. And yet, not linking the memories of the day and not drawing a conclusion about them, Pierre closed his eyes, and the picture of summer nature mixed with the memory of swimming, of a liquid vibrating ball, and he sank somewhere into the water, so that the water converged over his head.
Before sunrise, he was awakened by loud, frequent shots and shouts. The French ran past Pierre.
- Les cosaques! [Cossacks!] - one of them shouted, and a minute later a crowd of Russian faces surrounded Pierre.
For a long time Pierre could not understand what happened to him. On all sides he heard the cries of joy from his comrades.

Nigina Amonkulova: Father scolded me for doing frivolous things

09:00 23.10.2015

How did you manage to become a singer, despite the prohibitions, is it true that you had to leave the stage under pressure and what new songs await fans, the popular Tajik singer Nigina Amonkulova told in an interview with “Russia for All”.

Nigina Amonkulova is one of the brightest and most talented Tajik pop stars. Thanks to beautiful voice, graceful performance and, most importantly, high-quality content of songs in the national style in a short time was able not only to gain popular love, but also to find her own unique place on modern scene... The sudden popularity did not have a negative effect on her, as it happens, - she, as before, is modest, friendly and easy to communicate.

Nigina Amonkulova told about how she managed to become a singer, despite the prohibitions, is it true that she left the stage under pressure, and what new songs await fans. exclusive interview Internet portal "".

- Nigina, was it a childhood dream to perform on stage, to become a singer?

- It, of course, was in my soul, but I probably did not realize it. Dad has very good voice, my grandfather sang folk songs. My genre is not classical and not too pop. This is more from the heart. Rather, I'm still a folk songwriter. But what I do, I really like it - this is my job, and I am happy that I have it in my life. I live by it and will live by it.

- Did your parents immediately notice your artistry and zeal for singing? Supported?

- I will not say that I was in the spotlight. I remember that I always sang at home - when I worked, I cleaned, cooked, sang along all the time. Mom and Dad scolded me for this, told me not to be distracted. I am sorry that my parents did not send me to music school... I do not have music education, and also I do not know how to play on musical instruments.

- What instrument would you like to play?

- On the piano. This is the kind of instrument that you can play and compose everything. It would be nice to sing and accompany yourself on the piano.

- But even now it is not too late to learn this, the main thing is to find time ...

- That's just the same time and not enough, because now there are a lot of things to do. And it seems to me that this still needs to be done from childhood, so that the foundation is strong.

- Do you remember your first performance in front of a large audience?

- I sang my first song at the prom at school. It was a song own composition"Alvido, maktab!" ("Goodbye, school"). We got together with classmates, girlfriends, and decided to sing a song about school years. The musicians listened to us, they liked my voice, and they left only me. My friends were a little offended then.

And on the graduation day, when I sang this song, all the graduates and teachers were crying. After the performance, everyone came up, hugged and thanked me for the performance. When I entered the medical college, everyone already knew that I sing and I have a good voice - they began to offer me to perform at various competitions. But then my parents scolded me for singing at the prom.

- That is, the parents did not like that you sang and the audience greeted you so warmly?

- My father scolded that I, an adult girl, do some frivolous things. Mom was also unhappy.

- And someone from your family came to your defense?

- Yes, grandmother. It seems to me that she is the person who supported me and put my parents in front of the fact that I would sing, and that's it. This was her decision, and no one would have gone against her word.

On "Andalebe-2004" (Song competition. - Ed. Note) I was supposed to perform at the city competition with the song "Muqabbat - bakhti khandon" ("Love - smiling happiness"). My parents did not know about it, but when they found out, they banned it. And I could not let the team that was hoping for me so much. Well, I sang and they gave me 10 points.

The next tour of "Andaleba" was republican and took place in Kulyab (200 km southeast of Dushanbe. - Ed. Note)... I sang the same song. They gave me 9 points, and all my hopes collapsed inside me at once, my whole mood soured.

Two years later, when I had already graduated from the medical college, I was again invited to the republican competition "Andaleb" in Dushanbe. I was offered three songs to choose from - "Intizorӣ" ("Waiting"), "Khonai mo on kadar kam dur nest" ("Our house is not too far away") and one more song, which is more popular among the people as "Dar labi both ”(“ On the river bank ”), but in fact it is called“ Rangida nigoram omad ”(“ My offended beloved has come ”). I immediately chose this song - it was closer to me. Dad gave his consent only three days before leaving for Dushanbe - again, thanks to my beloved grandmother, who barely persuaded him.

And so I came to Koҳi Farhang (House of Culture), we rehearsed and flew to Dushanbe. On the day of the performance, I had some kind of problem, I don't remember which one, but, in my opinion, something was wrong with the costume. I was very worried about this and even cried before the performance. But when I entered the stage, everything seemed to boil in my soul. And when I started to sing, I felt the sympathy and support of the audience and gave my all 100%. The jury gave me 10 points. ( Small homeland of the singer. - Note. ed.) won then the Grand Prix.

So they returned home. Everything is fine, everything has calmed down. And then suddenly, "Shabakai Awal" and "Safina" probably show my performance every half hour. Dad got angry again - they say that they show you so often, you need to call them, tell them not to show you.

- How did you feel when you saw it on television?

- I remember, I was very shy, scolded myself for my facial expressions, I thought why I did this, why I smiled.

- What kind of person are you in life?

- I am an introverted person. I'm not as active as on stage. When I go on stage, I directly reincarnate, I put all my strength, all my emotions into the performance of my song. And so I am a family, quiet person. Not everyone can be friends, communicate.

- After Andaleb, were you invited to work in Dushanbe?

- Yes. I studied at the Tursanzade Institute of Arts. True, I have a profession ( laughs). In 2007 I entered the conservatory, but I also worked as a soloist in the Dario ensemble, and there was very little time, I could not combine study and work. When I went to study, I was scolded here, I worked - I missed classes and received from the teachers. Then I decided to go to distance learning and continued to work.

- And the conditions when you were invited were in Dushanbe?

- Yes, I was provided with housing. Now I live here.

- How do you combine home, work, family in such a tight touring schedule?

- It can be very difficult, but so far I can handle it. My family understands and supports me. My family knows that the stage is my vocation.

- Who helps you with caring for your child?

- My mom helps me with this.

- Does anyone else sing in your family besides you?

- Yes, my younger brother, Khusrav Amonkulov. He is a singer and mainly performs in Khujand. Even before me he began to study music, graduated from a music school.

- How many of you are in the family?

- Five. My brother is older than me, and three more younger brothers after me. I am the only daughter.

- In your performances, you mostly wear the national one. Who sketches, designs?

- I do all this personally. I have no designer, no director, no producer. I make sketches myself, give it to the dressmaker, and she sews.

- V recent clips you have brighter makeup, European clothes. Don't want to be remembered only in the atlas?

- No, why, on the contrary. I want to be remembered like this, because the atlas is so diverse, beautiful and makes any girl even more feminine and tender. But there are times when I choose outfits for a song.

- Do you shoot your videos mainly in Tajikistan or abroad?

- I do not have the opportunity to shoot videos abroad yet. All filmed here in Dushanbe. Of course, I would like to shoot them abroad, more professionally, with high quality, but so far there is no financial opportunity. Let us be content with what we have.

- And what has your name and success brought you in material terms?

- I have everything, thank God. There is a car, an apartment. My wealth is my songs, clips. This is all I did myself.

- From the moment of your participation in the Andaleb competition and up to the present day, you have probably gained a whole army of fans. Do they not torment?

- No, my parents were very protective of me, and there was never such a problem that they pounced on me. But, as we say, “Havchiko beads of budands” (there were enough matchmakers).

- You are a rather famous singer in the country, and there are a lot of rumors about you. One of them, for example, is that you were pressured and therefore you left the stage. Is it so?

- No, it is, of course, rumors. There are no problems, thank God. As I performed and worked, I continue to work.

- What are you working on now? How are you planning to please your fans in the near future?

- As I said, I do everything myself and therefore I cannot release a song every month. Sometimes, of course, it happens that I will release 2-3 songs in one month, but sometimes it can last up to three months. Now I have a couple of new songs on the way. So far I am working on their completion.

- Do you have any plans to perform in Moscow, Russia?

- Oh sure. This year there were many offers from Moscow regarding concerts. I was also supposed to be there, but since we have a state institution, there are a lot of performances and events that we have to perform here. But I really hope that this year I will finally go and perform in Moscow.

- Have you performed in Russia before?

- No, I am not yet familiar with the Russian public.

- In which countries did you perform? Where did you like it more?

- We often travel from to different countries... I have been to China, have traveled to Europe, to Arab countries, and have visited India. Almost everywhere we are greeted very well, I’ll even say with a bang - after all, these are national Tajik songs.

- When you have free time, where do you like to relax?

- I would like to visit Italy. I liked Paris very much. Although we were passing there, I will never forget this city - it is actually fabulous. In Germany, life seemed kind of gray to me, but Paris is bustling with life, although I did not have time to really see anything.

- Do you buy clothes on these trips too?

- European - yes. But I very rarely wear European clothes on stage, and I sew national clothes here.

- How do you like to spend your free time?

- If there is such a time, which is very rare, I try to spend it with the child, because he always misses me.

- Do you cook at home? What's your signature dish that you spoil your family with?

- Yes, I'm cooking. My child is very fond of spaghetti. They are good at me.

- What national dishes do you like to cook?

- Of the national ones, I know how to cook very little, but, to be honest, I myself really like to eat deliciously ( laughs). Of course, I understand that this is harmful for the figure, but when I see that I have already gone too far, I go on a diet, but not on a rigid one. I just eat fruits, dairy products, vegetables. And so I'm not picky about food at all. I am always interested in trying new food, different. When we were in China on tour, no one ate traditional Chinese food, but I tried everything.

- Often you are recognized on the streets in Dushanbe, on tour?

- Yes, it happens often. At first I was somehow complex, but now I'm used to it. They come up for an autograph, ask to be photographed together. This is me now by car, and before I went by public transport.

- Do you feel like a star?

- No, I never considered myself a star. The star is Alla Pugacheva, Philip Kirkorov. I have the love of the people, but this does not make me feel like a star. “Maҳbubi khalқ budan” (to be the favorite of the people) is good. I always say that my sponsor is my people, because I often go to events, weddings. My people support me, and I am grateful to them for that. I will never leave Tajikistan or go to any other country.

- And there were such proposals, and if so, from which countries?

- Yes they were. Mostly Iranian, Afghani diasporas who live in America, Canada, but I cannot imagine myself without Tajikistan.

- What are you striving for now? Have you achieved everything you wanted?

- I do not know. It seems to me that I have not done something important yet, have not achieved much. I feel like I haven't sung mine yet main song, it is still ahead. I still have to grow and learn, gain experience, professionalism. Recently I found out that I already have 80 songs: I came to my friend and saw her disk, in which they collected all the songs in a collection - both those that I sang alone, and as a duet.

Nigina Amonkulova(taj. Nigina Amonulova, genus. January 30, Penjikent, Leninabad region, Tajik SSR) - Tajik pop singer, performer of Tajik folk songs and songs in the style of "retro". It stands out for its very bright national appearance and vocal abilities. She was first seen at the Andalep competition and after that her career took off.

Biography

Nigina Amonkulova was born in the city of Penjikent in the very west of Tajikistan. Despite the fact that her parents, especially her father, were not indifferent to music, Nigina herself dreamed of being a doctor all her conscious childhood. To achieve her goal, she even entered medical school. However, after one successful performance at the high school graduation party, Nigina decided to seriously take up music.

And her song "Ranchida nigoram omad" ("The beloved came offended") made her name famous not only in her native Penjikent, but also in the capital. From that moment on, her stage career began.

Nigina moved to Dushanbe and began performing Tajik folk songs and songs in the retro style. In a short time, the singer became famous throughout Tajikistan, which was also facilitated by the folk, “non-pop” character of her songs. The singer usually performs in colorful costumes based on Tajik national costumes, which adds even more charm to her performances.

The singer about herself

Pop is not my genre. And not because I find him bad or unworthy. Just folk art, "old songs about the main thing" is much closer to me. Probably, only in them you can express your feelings with all sincerity.

One day one of my ustods gave me a gorgeous compliment. He said that the songs I am performing now were not as popular among the people as they are now.

This singer is imbued with the energy of the Zarafshan Valley and the ancient cities of Samarkand and Penjikent, grew up in the space where the founder of Persian-Tajik literature Abu Abdulloh Rudaki and the bright star of 20th century poetry Loik Sherali were born. You are not mistaken: Nigina Amonkulova is the guest of AP.

- Nigina, how was your childhood? Tell us about your family.
- My childhood was spent in Penjikent. My mom is an accountant by profession, and my dad is a driver. There are five children in the family. My older brother Khurshed, a businessman, the second brother Khusrav is a singer, graduated College of Music, the third brother Hayem is a woodcarving master, and the younger Hamijon is still in school.

- It's amazing, mom is an accountant, dad is a taxi driver, and their two children are artists. From whom did you get such a gift?

- Initially, you did not plan to become a singer. What was the decisive factor for you? And how did your parents react to your choice?

For the first time in public, I sang on the last bell, it was there that I sang a song in Tajik “Farewell to school”. All the teachers and graduates were crying, then I did not expect that this song would touch their hearts. It was a surprise for me. After leaving school, my parents decided that I would become a nurse. I did not dispute their decision and entered medical college. Then, already being a student, she participated in all cultural events of the city. My father's aunt, who worked in the field of culture, knew that I was good at singing, and when I was in my 3rd year, she signed me up for the Andaleb city festival. I then sang the song "Muhabbat - bakhti khandoni" (Love - smiling happiness). Then the republican festival took place, where I received the highest score. After my performance at the festival, they began to show me on television, all the journalists started talking about me, even from Dushanbe one of them came to Penjikent to interview me. Father didn't like it. The thing is, I was engaged at the time. Of course, my father wished me happiness and was worried that the media would speak badly about me. Unfortunately, this happens, in our time, art has its pros and cons.

- If it's not a secret, who is your spouse? When you got married, did he mind you pursuing your singing career?

At the end of 2007, I married my father's sister's son. His name is Firuz, he is an entrepreneur. Before getting married, my parents told him that this is my profession. He accepted me for who I am and did not interfere with my further career growth.

- This summer, some media outlets slandered that you allegedly divorced. This is true?

When I read about it, I realized that my father was not worried in vain. Send slander! Later my husband called and asked: “Nigina, what is it? Are we getting bred already? " We decided to ignore this gossip any longer.

But I assure you that I am happy married woman... Mother of a charming 3-year-old boy named Azamat. It is just that some newspapers need to raise their ratings, often they have one headline, but what you read inside is completely different. But, unfortunately, people pay attention to the headline, and not to what is inside. It happens that they call, ask one or two questions, then I read in the newspaper great article About Me. I used to be surprised, but now I'm used to it.

- If your husband put you in a dilemma: family or career, which would you choose?

Of course, I would have chosen a family. Any oriental woman should first think about family happiness, and then about her career.

- How many children do you want in the future?

I want another child, a girl.

- How would you name your daughter?

If I ever have a daughter, I will name her unusual name- Zeravshan, so that her life flows like the Zeravshan River - beautiful, long and carefree.

- It is difficult, probably, such famous singer like you, walking down the street. Do they recognize you?

Yes, but mostly I try to avoid being recognized on the street.

- Are you disguised?

- (Laughs). V Everyday life I wear discreet European clothes, but they know me for their national dresses. I often wear glasses, and then I do not walk much, mostly I drive my car.

- You stand out from the rest with your refined style, thanks to you, many girls proudly began to wear the national skullcap, many fans after your performances fled to the studio hoping to sew the same dress as yours. Who comes up with your image for you, who sews such beautiful concert dresses?

In addition to being a singer, I am also a dressmaker, and I sew almost all of my outfits myself. It so happens that there is not enough time. Then I prepare a sketch of the dress and give it to the dressmaker. And when choosing a material, I often dwell on the atlas, because it is the atlas that has always and at all times adorned a Tajik girl. It is not for nothing that they still sing about the girl in the atlas in songs. She decided to put on the skullcap herself.

- Nigina, they say you cook deliciously. Do you have your own signature recipe?

I love to eat well and cook deliciously. Now I mainly lean on salads and soups, limit fatty and sweet foods, so I often cook salads. I love to make something out of nothing. I open the refrigerator, take the herbs, vegetables, what I have, cut them, and I get a delicious salad. This is my special recipe. I love to experiment, I mix things that have never been combined before me. But I will never resist the temptation to eat delicious Panjakent pilaf. I admit, this is my weakness.

- We now know that you love to make something out of nothing. What else will you surprise us with?
- I travel a lot, I have already traveled most of the world. Once, in China, I was pleasantly surprised when the Chinese approached me and asked: "Are you the singer Nigina from Tajikistan?" I didn't know that even there they listen to my songs. I have visited many countries, all of them are magnificent, but the famous saying: "See Paris and die" turned out to be not unfounded for me. You can't imagine how much I fell in love with Paris! (Eyes shining) What life is there, and it boils! The first thing I did was visit the Eiffel Tower. Whatever souvenir I take, this is the song of my favorite singer Edith Piaf, "sparrow" - as the French also called it with love.

- You have visited a country - a trendsetter of high fashion and the homeland of perfumes. What perfume do you like, what style of dress do you prefer?

Most of all I love Chanel perfume, but sometimes I don't mind sprinkling it with Christian Dior perfume. I prefer the classic French style of clothing, that is, simplicity, quality and sophistication. And I don't like gold, I prefer silver jewelry.

- Nigina, summing up this year, we can say with confidence that it turned out to be successful for you. Your songs are heard everywhere. Especially the new clips "Tu Bigu" and "Charkhi Falak" ...

Yes, this year I have released two videos and several new songs. When creating these videos, Orzu Isoev helped me, he wrote the words, and Davron Rakhmatzod wrote the music. When I was offered to sing the song "Tu Bigu", I, without hesitation, agreed, because I really liked this song. And the clip "Charkhi Falak" shows the real bitter life of many women. Although I have not encountered this problem, I often heard from my friends that women often fall into family slavery, and this is a sore problem in our society. Now I am working on the preparation of new songs under the guidance of the famous composer, ustod Asliddin Nizomov. And I hope they become hits, because really, these songs are created especially for me.

- All spectators are looking forward to your solo concert. When will it take place?

Many people ask me this question. Soon I plan to give a solo concert, now I am working on it. I want to sing live, I plan to create my own stage in the national style, so that everything is professional. While I am still studying and try to work more and more on myself.

- Where are you studying?

I am a 4th year student at the State Institute of Arts. M. Tursunzoda. And for the 4th year I have been working in the national ensemble "Dare"

- What musical instruments do you play?

I have always dreamed of playing the piano, so I go to piano lessons at the institute where I study.

- Who are your teachers in creative work?

These are Muzaffar Mukhiddinov, Mastona Ergasheva and Asliddin Nizomov.

- Are you not going to sing in English and Russian in order to gain world recognition?

First, I want to get recognition from my people, for me this is the most important thing, so I work for the good of my homeland and I will sing in my native language, because our language is so beautiful.

- Which artists' songs do you like to listen to the most?

From Tajik performers I love the songs of Mastona Ergasheva, Barno Isokova and Nigina Raupova, I listen to Ahmad Zohir, I love the songs of Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour and Joe Dassin, I also like Indian songs.

- What would Nigina Amonkulova wish herself on the eve of the New Year?

Health, peace, tranquility and happiness. I would like my son to grow up healthy, smart, a good man and would contribute to the development of the country.
