The Egmont Russia publishing house was created in 1992 as a subsidiary of the oldest Danish publishing concern in Europe, Egmont International Holding, which has representative offices in more than 30 countries. From its inception to the present day, Egmont Russia has specialized in publishing books and magazines for children. Today Egmont Russia is one of the ten largest Russian publishing houses.

A year ago, a new educational magazine for teenagers, Young Erudite, appeared on the Russian periodical market, published by the Egmont Russia group of companies, whose books and magazines are already well known to Russian readers. For the first anniversary of the publication, as a gift to the first devoted readers, it was decided to create an electronic version of the magazine.

Working on the design of the electronic version was easy and difficult at the same time. Light because the magazine is replete with colorful illustrations, so the leading designer of the project, Oleg Nagursky, did not experience a shortage of design material. The main difficulty lay in the exceptional demands of young readers and the nuances of design for a teenage audience. Bright colors, rich illustrations, enlarged font sets - all this had to be combined with the traditional design restrictions for the Internet environment.

Home page

The electronic version included all the most interesting sections of the printed ancestor. In addition to the usual search, articles are equipped with an electronic comparison system, which automatically offers the reader publications on similar topics. Thus, along with the biography of aircraft designer Sikorsky, links to other articles on the aircraft industry will be presented. In order for parents to be able to familiarize themselves with the topics of the magazine, an archive of published issues is published on the website, and if the content suits their tastes, the website will provide the most detailed instructions on all the ways to subscribe to the publication.

The head of the marketing department of the Egmont Russia company, Ekaterina Vlasova, commented on the appearance of the project on the Internet as follows: “The Internet today is almost the main hobby of young people and teenagers. And we are confident that the creation of an electronic version of the printed publication is an absolutely necessary event that will allow our magazine to remain relevant in an ever-changing world. While working on this project, we worked closely with specialists from the Valery Komyagin Studio, trying to combine their experience in the field of creating web products with our knowledge of the specifics of the magazine and its audience. We hope that readers will like the result of our joint creativity.”

“What are developmental activities for a child, what are they, and how are they useful?” - this is one of the most pressing issues that worries caring parents.

Your baby is growing quickly, and you are beginning to notice that he is getting bored being constantly at home. This usually occurs at the age of 3 years. Children are increasingly declaring their independence; they want to go their own way and certainly do everything their own way. This desire can be channeled in the right direction by attending educational classes for children. Such classes are a wonderful opportunity for a child to get acquainted with the basics of behavior in a team, develop creative abilities, and strengthen self-esteem.

The Firefly Children's Center offers a comprehensive development program, which includes familiarization with the outside world, finger and speech therapy exercises, physical education sessions using orthopedic mats, creative activities (sculpting, drawing, appliqué, crafts from natural materials), music, and role-playing games. The program is aimed at developing communication skills, revealing creative abilities, developing speech, and broadening one’s horizons.

Every child is unique in their own way. He is going through his own individual development path, and our task is to help him more fully discover his capabilities and abilities.

Classes are held without “memorization” or “memorization”, in a fun form with elements of competition. In complete liberation of movements and postures, with the singing of educational songs, children absorb extensive and varied information.
