- How did your path to success start?

Victoria: My journey began in early childhood... From the age of six I was preparing to become a ballerina, but already at nine I understood well that I wanted to sing. She began to sing in the children's ensemble "Grenada", sang in different languages ​​and played all kinds of instruments; guitar, mandolin and flute. They toured Cuba twice. At the age of 14, she entered the self-supporting department of pop vocal at Russian Academy music named after the Gnesins. I was chosen to perform at the "Morning Star", and upon graduation I was invited to the state Musical Theatre Lechaim, sang in Hebrew and Yiddish. Working in the theater brought me great pleasure, unfortunately, now it does not exist. After school, she entered the RATI (GITIS) at the pop faculty. These were wonderful years of study and creativity. While studying at the RATI, at one large party I met Alexandra Shoua.

Alexander: At the age of four, my parents sent me to music school... Since then, he has not parted with music.

- What is your first impression of each other?

Alexander: We met at a party of our mutual friend. The first impression was not deceiving. We knew immediately that we could achieve a lot. Accordingly, a common language was found instantly.

Victoria: I was just struck by his voice and manner of singing, he sang like Eros Ramazzotti. Then we sang together all evening and never parted again, deciding to work together. We immediately worked together, we had common musical tastes and the same desire for music, singing and work. After a while, we met our producer, who immediately liked it and started working together.

- How has your life changed with the advent of popularity?

Victoria: Popularity hasn't made any tangible changes in my life. There is no so-called "star fever", it is always a pleasure for me to meet with fans, I will never refuse a request to be photographed. Being famous is a part of our work that we love very much.

- How has your life changed since the release of your first album?

Alexander: All our albums went platinum. A lot has happened since our first album, The Other Family. Sometimes the changes took us to the most unexpected places, but now I am grateful to everything that happened to us. I cannot imagine that life could have turned out differently. On this moment I have the opportunity to do what I love and not worry about tomorrow.

- Tell us about your romance, which you kept secret.

Victoria: I try to hide all my novels and personal relationships. I don’t understand why to make public what a person lives with, because it has nothing to do with creativity on stage.

- How did your relationship change after you stopped dating?

Victoria: After we stopped dating, our relationship did not change in better side... Most likely, Sasha's departure was partly due to this reason. Agree, it is difficult to work with a person with whom you had a love relationship.

Alexander: We stopped dating before the official formation of the duet "Nepara". As for the collapse of the duet, after the reunion, it was easy for Vika and me to work together again, we did not even feel that we were at odds.

- You broke up to pursue solo careers. Tell us what is the difference between a solo performance and a duet?

Victoria: When we broke up at the initiative of Alexander, each was pursuing his own solo career. I will not hide it, it was not easy for me - I do not compose songs, unlike Sasha, besides, I was very sad about our songs. We worked in Nepar for a long time and I have always liked our joint work.

Alexander: In a solo career, you are responsible for all the mistakes yourself, you cannot shift the responsibility. It is interesting to work both solo and in a duet. There are advantages everywhere.

- How has your relationship changed after the group's reunion?

Victoria: A year and three months later, Nepara reunited again, but in completely different qualities. We missed our songs and concerts, we were able to understand what is really important to us. Now we have calmed down, our quarrels and disagreements have come to naught. In addition, Sasha and I have found family happiness.

- How do you manage to balance work with your personal life?

Victoria: My family always supports me and shares my desire for the work I love. I am grateful to my family that they are always there and help to overcome certain difficulties that arise on my way.

Alexander: Balancing work with your personal life is like walking a tightrope. Of course, it is not easy, but I am an experienced tightrope walker, so I can easily cope with this task.

- What difficulties did you face during your performances?

Victoria: There were times when it was difficult on tour. Once she got very sick - a terrible bronchitis began, but the concert took place. At the early stage of pregnancy, there were ailments, my head was spinning, since Alexander supported me in every possible way, helped me. But these are all temporary difficulties, this cannot be avoided in 15 years of work.

- What do you do in moments of creative crisis?

Alexander: My friends help me to overcome the moments of creative stagnation. We meet often, sing songs together, play the guitar and the creative crisis goes away by itself.

Victoria: I must admit that I have never had moments of creative crisis, I have always loved working at Nepar. But creative stagnation inevitably occurs in the team. Sometimes new songs come out one after another, and sometimes nothing sinks into the soul, and we take a break.

- Tell us about the most memorable incident in your career.

Alexander: The opportunity to do what you love is significant event everyday. Each performance is a celebration.

- What is a source of inspiration for you?

Victoria: My family is my source of inspiration. In October, the most important person in my life appeared and now, there is no need to look for a stronger source of inspiration.

Alexander: Inspiration surrounds us, for me the main source of inspiration is the stories and destinies of people.

- How do you feel when you go on stage?

Victoria: When I go on stage, I feel a surge of energy that I want to share with the audience.

Alexander: Standing behind the curtains I am always worried, but as soon as I see the audience, the excitement disappears, only music remains.

- What do you like most about your job?

Victoria: In my work, I like our music the most. The process of compiling and approving the material, we always want to convey to people those feelings that overwhelm us when we perform each song.

Alexander: In my work, I like what I can do, what I like (laughs).

- Will there be a fourth studio album?

Alexander: There is no fourth album yet. We plan to record several new songs by autumn, when there is enough material we will release the fourth disc.

- Tell us about your plans for this year.

Victoria: To raise my little daughter, to devote as much time as possible to the family. Also work, getting great pleasure from creativity.

Biography

Future star Russian pop music was born in the city of Ochamchira on December 26, 1973. Alexander Shoua was brought up in musical family... Dad was a guitarist and drummer, his own uncle had an amazing voice, played on different musical instruments... Little Sasha from the age of four could not be taken away from the piano, and by the age of nine he was already a participant in the children's musical group Anban. Here he gained experience and learned to play the guitar and drums. At the age of 13, he was already a mature musician, but he nevertheless decided to continue his studies and entered the Variety Department at the Sukhumi School.

They had to leave their homes as a result of the military conflict that erupted in Abkhazia and Georgia. The Shaw family went to Moscow. It was difficult, because everything had to start all over again. Alexander Shoua had to work in many places, including as a loader in stores. After a while he met one of the musicians of the "Aramis" group. From that moment on, his family did not need anything. Sasha perfectly applied his talent and professional musical education.

At one of the parties, Show met a representative of the large European studio "Polygram". After a short conversation, Alexander was invited to Europe and for several years led the audience in nightclubs. “It's just water,” laughs Victoria. - I have a habit of taking a sip of water before eating. This is probably why my mother, knowing about this, placed coasters for glasses with water in my apartment. But these are not the only changes that have occurred in my house recently. We have finally completed the second half of the apartment! They broke the wall between the kitchen and the living room, and a second bedroom also appeared. All the permutations were completely and completely done by my mother - I’m on tour all the time. I wanted to offer her help, but she refused, said that she was getting great pleasure from remodeling my apartment. To keep track of the renovation work, mom just needs to take a couple of steps: a few years ago we bought her a house in the same house as me. Previously, she lived with her mother, my grandmother, in a house on the Frunzenskaya embankment. When my grandmother was gone, my mother became unbearable to be alone all the time. We sold that apartment, however, without renovation, it would have spent an astronomical amount, and bought my mother another one next door to me. So now I am always under my mother's watchful eye.

- I cannot but ask if you and Alexander had an affair?

- Was, - laughs Victoria, - was, I confess at last! But this is a thing of the past. Previously, I read the arguments of fans on the Internet, they say, and why did Sasha captivate me, because he is far from handsome. And I have never had stereotypes about appearance: if a person hooked me, it doesn't matter what he is: fat or thin, long or not. I am more wary of handsome men who, passing by the mirror, strive to admire themselves.

- I wonder how you and Sasha got along, because you are both leaders by nature.

- Yes, we often had disagreements, but we always found a consensus both personally and musically. Although often Sasha could bang his fist on the table and say: "I said so, so it will be so!" But I am not a quiet mouse either. Therefore, battles took place on a regular basis. Sometimes we met before a concert and didn't even say hello to each other. But on the stage everything passed.

- How did you manage to remain friends after your love story ended?

- I cannot say that we have remained friends. We are rather stage partners, but nothing more. Of course, after breaking up a relationship, it is better not to see your loved one for a while, so that the wounds heal. Sasha and I met constantly, we had to go on tour and even sing songs about unhappy love. This is probably why our songs touched the hearts of the audience so much.

- Now Alexander has found happiness in his personal life?

- As far as I know, he is not married. He has a daughter, Maya, from his first marriage, she is now 13 years old. She is very talented and beautiful girl... Maya even went on tour with us several times. But it seems that he does not plan to follow in the footsteps of his dad.

- She probably loves to visit your home, because you collect dolls: that's really where the expanse for the girl!

- I do not collect classic dolls, but unusual ones. For example, I have collected a collection of "dolls-mukla" by designer Polina Voloshina. I have three shelves allocated for them. Each has five pieces. These dolls are teenage girls, angular, with outstretched limbs. Perhaps only I like them. My goddaughter, when she comes, wrinkles her nose: "They are very ugly, do you have a Barbie?" And I don’t have a Barbie.

- Isn't it because you collect them because you yourself were unhappy with yourself in adolescence?

- I never considered myself beautiful, never enjoyed success with boys. She was too thin, angular. Even working already in a modeling agency, I was complex about my height: I have him only 175 centimeters. At the auditions, I was even advised to add two centimeters in the questionnaire. So I didn't have megalomania about my appearance.

- But for sure they were considered their own among the boys.

- I have always had more friends among men. And when I worked in the Jewish musical and drama theater "Leikham", and then in the group "Nepara" - there are generally nine men and I am alone. But the guys did not treat me like a princess, on the contrary, they called me "our little brother."

- I will never believe that you have never had a passionate romance in your life!

- Yes, I think I have loved three times in my life. I had a passionate affair with a Spaniard. We met in Spain. This is where passions boiled and sparks sparkled! I was ready to give up everything for him: the institute, the country - everything! Without doubting that my beloved will accept and support me, I even found out about working in Spain. But the man, apparently, was frightened of responsibility and began to distance himself from me in every possible way. His behavior, of course, cooled my ardor. And when my beloved wrote a month later: "I thought it over, come!", I was already burned out. And she wrote him a letter: "When happiness is given to you, you have to grab it right away!" He then wrote to me for a long time, but that was already ... irrelevant.

- Not relevant because you met Eldar's husband?

- This is the first man I loved. Now I think if he was my relative - uncle or brother - it would be great. He was much older than me, but he looked very young. I even almost until the wedding thought that he was much less years old than it actually turned out. I was very surprised when I found out his age. Noticing my bewilderment, Eldar asked: “Does it really change something? Have you begun to treat me differently? "

- Why did you break up?

- Firstly, it was an early marriage. Moreover, his friends did not perceive me as an equal. To them, I was a little girl. I recently asked him what he found in me then. After all, at the age of eighteen, except for naivety and good looks, I had nothing.

- Did you meet Sasha when you were married to Eldar?

- Yes, my husband and I were at a friend's birthday party in a club, where Sasha sang songs by Eros Ramazzotti, my favorite singer at that time, on stage. Friends insisted that we sing with him. So during the evening I went on stage with him several times, they asked me: "Vika, sing, you are doing so well!" After the banquet, Sasha and I talked and decided to perform together at corporate parties - to re-sing world hits. But then the producer saw us and decided to make the Nepara group. They tried to create a Russian version of Al Bano and Romina Power out of us. We were told: “You have to work in contrast. - To put it mildly, my husband loved too much and loves, probably still the female sex. Too much love. And this despite the fact that for him I was the queen. But I know myself, I cannot come to terms with betrayal. At some point, I just got tired of them. He, of course, tried to hold me back. Soon we decided to try to be together again. But at some point, I realized that my feelings for him had changed. I began to perceive and love him as a relative, and not as a man. The love between a man and a woman left the family. This is probably why we parted: the loss of love was mine main complaint to him.

- Eldar was your first love, who are the rest?

- Only I know about this, those men who were next, the one who is next to me now.
