The year of birth of Olga Molchanova editor is wider than the circle. Mikhail Muromov screamed during the toast. Interview excerpts

23 october 2016

Olga Molchanova was born in Yekaterinburg on March 27, 1949. In 1976, a musical performance "Wider Circle" was released on the central TV channel. The program was an unprecedented breakthrough for that period - the ratings were unrealistically off-scale. Olga Molchanova, the editor of Shire Krug, was at the same time the inspirer, soul, creator and representative face of this project.

Awards and merit

Thanks to her participation, the national stage received stars, whose names became known in every home. It was on the set of this program that such personalities as M. Zadornov, A. Malinin, Vyacheslav Malezhik, Natalya Koroleva, F. Kirkorov and many others appeared for the first time. For most of the artists of that time, Olga Molchanova became the second, creative, mother.

The presenter is an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. In addition, Olga Borisovna is a laureate of the national award "Ovation" in the nomination "Making a special contribution to the development of music on television." In 2001, "Shire Krug" was broadcast on the TVC channel. With the fall in the popularity rating of the program, Molchanova is actively working in other countries, especially often she visited Israel.

Interview excerpts

Olga Molchanova, editor of Shire Krug, stated in one of her interviews that anniversary edition the program was filmed on February 11 at concert hall"Russia". It was hosted by five famous actresses, who at one time already acted in this role. Among them are Ekaterina Semenova, Alena Apina, Tatiana Ovsienko, I. Bronevitskaya and Jasmin. The only male representative represented by the actor Gennady Vetrov was diluted by a purely female team.

The host of the "Full House" R. Dubovitskaya said that it was she who gave impetus to Gena's talent. By and large, Vetrov first appeared on TV screens in the 80s with a personal unique number - simultaneous playing on a dozen instruments in the "Shire Krug" project. At that time, the actor was a participant theater group"Buff" from Leningrad. The first significant steps on stage in this program were made by a young Ukrainian Oleg Zhigalkin in the genre of parody. Now he is awarded the title of People's Artist of Ukraine.

According to Olga Molchanova, Oleg was serving in the army when his comrades wrote to the editorial office that their colleague perfectly imitates popular artists and even imitates Zykina's timbre. The editorial board decided to invite him to the set, and Zhigalkin, as a young soldier, ascended the popularity ladder. For the first time, another star persona shone in the program - the well-known and very revered in the post-Soviet space Nina Shestakova, who for some time worked in the team of Sofia Rotaru. After years of oblivion, the audience was again able to contemplate Nina in the anniversary program.

Olga Borisovna Molchanova, whose biography is full of numerous acquaintances (including on the personal front) with various stars, does not hesitate to say that feelings played a decisive role in the choice of a soloist to participate in the program. However, all such prerogatives justified themselves one hundred percent, since people turned out to be really talented, which is confirmed by the love of fans and time.

Difficulties and overcoming them

Igor Matvienko once brought a cassette with sketches of the group "Ivanushki International" with a request to listen to it and give the children a chance in the most popular program at that time, "Wider Circle". After studying the material, Molchanova simply fell in love with this group, especially the soloist I. Sorin, who, in her opinion, possessed incredible charm and talent.

The guys performed in several programs “Wider Circle”. According to Olga Molchanova herself, whose biography is full of various events, she is glad that with her help the team was at the peak of popularity. By the way, a unique creative "discovery" was performed on the site - a mega-talented girl of eight years Yevgenia Aldukhova from Bryansk, who was predicted to have a great future. She performs in recitals and has recorded over twenty songs live.

Conflict moments with wards

When asked about conflict situations with celebrities, Olga Borisovna replied that this had happened. For example, the episode with Tatyana Markova, which happened on the set in Pyatigorsk. The participants were accommodated in a beautiful and fashionable sanatorium, Tanya and her husband were given a junior suite. Kornelyuk, Y. Evdokimov and many others lived in the same apartment. There were only two suites allocated. In one, Mikhail Muromov was placed together with the musicians, and the second was occupied directly by Molchanov, since the room was simultaneously the headquarters of the television program.

But Markova was cramped and uncomfortable for a couple with her husband in her junior suite, and she, positioning herself as an unsurpassed star, delivered an ultimatum, saying that if she was not moved to the suite, she would leave. The program would hardly have suffered from her absence, but Olga Molchanova, the editor of Shire Krug, whose biography contains a minimum of conflicting disputes, decided to give the artist her number.

Favorite "creative mom"

Often the so-called "own" artists for editors are those who pay. In Soviet times, there was practically no such comprehensive practice, but organizers who were not entirely clean on hand even then demanded financial ransom from the performers, knowing about their interest in television. Olga Molchanova claims that such a relationship with artists was unacceptable for her, she put on those whom she "discovered" and loved.

She appreciated and developed talent and a promising future. This is Dmitry Malikov, who at the age of 16 performed the composition "Sunny City". Definitely - Philip Kirkorov, seeing him for the first time, the editor of "Wider Circle" doubted his brilliant career. Despite the spectacular external data, combined with internal culture and musicality, the vocal part left much to be desired. "Creative mom" did not even imagine that a person would make such a giant leap and become megapopular pop singer... Among Olga Borisovna's favorites:

  • Serov Alexander;
  • Yaroslav Evdokimov;
  • accordion guru Valery Kovtun;
  • Dobrynin Vyacheslav.

By the way, the last artist fell into disgrace with the state authorities, which approved the participants in the program. Despite this, Olga Molchanova, whose photo is presented below, promoted him to the big stage.

Personal addictions

At one time, one of Olga's favorites was Mikhail Muromov. Their contact was formed after the recommendation of a friend of Rimma Kazakova, when Misha worked as a head waiter. For a certain time they had an affair with expensive gifts. After cooling off in relations, Muromov and Olga Borisovna Molchanova, whose biography is surrounded by all the stars, remained good friends... Many artists have repeatedly helped out their "godmother" morally and financially.

For the first time I heard about Lena Agutin from his father - Nikolay. Kolya was at one time the director of Slava Malezhik, the host of the "Shire Krug" program. And, accordingly, I was friends with Slava. Nikolay once said to me: “Olya, I have such a cool kid growing up - I think you will like it. I'll show you in a few years. " He dreamed of bringing his son to the stage. But it was not he who brought Lenya to me, but Oleg Nekrasov, who became Lenin's director many years later. This happened in the early 1990s.

Oleg went to music editions and everywhere offered a young artist, but, as I understand it, to no avail. Once he brought him to our program "Wider Circle". Frankly, Leonid did not make any special impression on me then. “This is a rumba” - that is, in my opinion, the name of the song that Lenya performed for the first time in the “Shire Krug” program. Then he began to appear in other programs. Well, then he sang "Barefoot Boy" and instantly became popular.

A couple of years later Igor Krutoy asked me: "How do you like Agutin?" I think Igor helped Lena in promoting it. I answer: "Nothing." "I bet he'll be a star?" I argued and, as you know, I lost. (Laughs) This is perhaps the only time when I did not guess. But now Agutin is one of my favorite artists.

- Igor Krutoy also did not immediately become known to the general public and made his way to the musical Olympus with difficulties.

Igor owes everything to Alexander Serov, his voice, charisma. He became popular earlier. The first song that Sasha sang in the "Shire Krug" program and in general on Central Television was written not by Krutoy, but by Zhenya Martynov. This is "Echo of First Love" to the words of Rozhdestvensky.

With this song Martynov and Serov appeared in our editorial office on Shabolovka. Zhenya and Sasha introduced me. I liked the song, we recorded it right away. And all of us, editors, liked Sasha - still, in his youth he was an incredibly handsome man! And the voice! And the manner! At that time, there were no such "Western" artists on our stage. Serov sang in my program more than once and often spoke about the songs of his friend, Igor Krutoy. And I already knew that Igor is not very favored on television. There was such a rustle: the surname was somehow suspicious, and most importantly, not a member of the Composers' Union. They preferred that only "members" ...

And yet, when Sasha brought Igor Krutoy's song to the verses of Rimma Kazakova "Madonna" and then "You love me", the TV people could not resist. They were broadcast, and Krutoy woke up famous.

- Tell us about the "pop king" Philip Kirkorov. After all, he also became famous thanks to his participation in the "Shire Krug" program.

Philip is the only artist who does not get tired of saying thanks to the program in any interview - not necessarily Olga Borisovna Molchanova. (Laughs) He is a very grateful person. I will not say that we promoted it, no. But he lit up in the "Wide circle".

For Philip, his appearance is his trump card. I saw him at seventeen and was literally blinded by beauty. He then studied at the Gnessin School, where my close girlfriend, pianist Lydia Lyakhina. She accompanied the students of Margarita Iosifovna Landa's class. And one day Lida called me: “Olya, what kind of guy has appeared, go crazy! Beautiful as God. " Incidentally, she once “looked after” (also Landa’s pupil) and introduced Serezha Zakharov to me. Philip and Sergey in their youth are one person.

When Lida told Philip that she knew me, he began to ask her to introduce us, because every performer dreamed of getting into the “Wider Circle” program. I allowed to give my number, and he began to cut off the phone. And I kept pondering - it is necessary, it is not necessary. Lida said that she didn’t sing very well ... And when the phone rang, I whispered to my mother that I was not at home. But Philip was persistent and eventually found an approach to his mother - he picked up the key to his heart: he said that she had a young beautiful voice.

Mom began to persuade: “Listen, Olya, this is becoming indecent - answer the phone. Such good boy, polite, delicate ". Finally I made an appointment with him at the editorial office. He came in a white ironed suit. He stared at me with his already huge eyes. And while we talked, he stood all the time.

- Is it because of the women present nearby?

He later admitted that he had put on his only concert costume and was afraid to wrinkle his trousers. He sat down only when he was accompanying himself on the piano - he sang Bulgarian songs by Toncho Rusev, his favorite composer. He put the music book on the music stand, and since it was previously rolled into a tube, while Philip played, it jumped off and fell. He was terribly embarrassed. And I had to repeat it over and over again. At that meeting, in a professional sense, Kirkorov did not promise anything bright. But all the women of Ostankino and Shabolovka immediately fell in love with him! And they asked me: "When will a beautiful boy appear in your program?"

It was impossible not to give air to such a handsome man - just like not helping to find a songwriter who would make Russian-language subtexts to the melodies of Bulgarian composers. I got on the phone and started calling the “greats”: Derbenev was ill, Tanich said that he had repairs, Shaferan refused. I remembered the poetess Natalya Shemyatenkova, the wife of a great official from the Central Committee of the party. She agreed to a meeting. We went with Philip to her luxurious apartment on Shchusev Street, a neighbor on the site was Galina Brezhneva. It all worked out. Natasha immediately fell in love with him, tried very hard, and the songs turned out to be pretty. Philip appeared in several programs, began to gain momentum, grow and grow stronger in a professional sense.

- Did you give Natasha Koroleva a start as well? Who brought her to you?

I was friends with Leva Leshchenko, and he was friends with Natasha's mother. It was with Levina's submission that Korolev ended up in the "Wider Circle" program - she was only 13 years old then. Lyova told me that there is a girl in Kiev who sings well. Leshchenko is an authority for me, so we immediately called Natasha to Moscow, she sang a nice little song about school love. She performed, of course, under her own real name- Break it. Alla Perfilova from Atkarsk also sang for the first time in the program "Wider Circle", while still a student. Now you know her as Valeria.

At that time, many artists who went on tour throughout the country, brought cassettes to our editorial office, said: here is a guy or a girl singing well. There was no video yet. We listened to everything that was brought to us, and if we thought that the young performer was really worthwhile, we were invited to the shooting. Sometimes they just called on the recommendations of the correspondents. Let's read a letter from some distant corner of the country that is talented person and send a telegram - let him leave. Some kind of inner flair and style of the letters themselves suggested a solution. There were practically no mistakes.

- Did you come for state money?

No, at my own expense. It was a democratic program, I'm proud! I myself traveled around the country and, if I came across interesting singers, dragged them to Moscow. Once I was in Tallinn for a song festival. In the evening we went to the famous night variety show, and there I saw Anne Veski. Free, Western-style relaxed, smiling ... I liked her very much, and I invited Anya to the “Wider Circle” program.

Yuri Antonov first appeared on the screen in our program. By that time he already had wild popularity, and no one knew what he looked like. The songs were distributed via clandestine cassettes. And no one dared to show it on TV - an unspoken instruction was sent down from above: since he is not a member of the Union of Composers, not let him in. But the program "Wider Circle" was assigned to the editorial board of folk art, so everything is logical: an unknown young performer, as if from the people, is taking his first professional steps - help is needed. In 1980 we even filmed a small recital of him, which was a great success.

The same Leva Leshchenko introduced us. He talked a lot about Yura, and one day he came to Shabolovka. I was surprised: this was not how I imagined him. Dense, well-fed ... And she said bluntly: you have wonderful songs, you just need to lose weight. I didn’t know Yurin’s character, his touchiness. He got angry, flared up and left. But, apparently, he forgave my tactlessness. Then Yura and I became friends, all of him best songs for the first time sounded in the "Shire Krug" program.

- But what about his character? Yuri Mikhailovich is famous for his quarrelsomeness.

With me he was gentle and affectionate, white and fluffy. But with others ... Once we decided to stage him as the host of the program. He went on stage with the singer Tatyana Kovaleva. Yura, of course, did not learn the text. He snapped at his partner's comments. I expressed irritation not entirely censorship. By the middle of the program, we decided to remove the presenters from the frame and just shoot the concert numbers - everything in a row. And then they dismissed the audience and wrote down the text separately. But it is worth noting that the audience idolized Antonov and filled the studio to capacity. Despite the fact that at that time it was difficult to gather an audience. We didn’t pay for participation, as it is done today. And the shooting is long, tiring, not everyone could stand it. But crowds of his fans rushed to Antonov, having fun, watching the quarrel of the presenters. (Laughs.)

We are still friends with Yura, but he has an explosive character, and excesses sometimes happen.

- Olga Borisovna, at soviet television it was possible to break through without cronyism, but for money?

Once I was standing in a smoking room on our thirteenth floor. And I hear a conversation on the floor below: “Listen, we need to somehow cram into the New Year's program. Where are we going to try? They will demand money in Ogonyok, no, we won't pull it ... Let's go to Shire Krug - it's free there. " For participation in the same "Blue Light" or in the "Morning Mail" had to be paid. Then I found out that these were the guys from the "Secret" group, who also first appeared on the All-Union TV in the "Shire Krug" program.

There was still a funny story about money. Composer Ilya Slovesnik brought me his song on audio cassette. He was capable good music wrote, and many artists sang his songs, but he wanted to perform them himself. And then he comes, passes the box, explains that there is a record and text new song... I say that I will listen later, now there is no time. And so he starts calling: “Olga Borisovna, well, have you listened? No? Have you seen the text? " I answer: I have a park, what will happen to the text? In short, one day I open the box, and there is money. I don’t remember what was the amount, about the monthly salary of an ordinary engineer. I put it back and listened to the composition. He called again, I said: “Ilyusha, come and take the song along with the“ text ”.

I always took talented people willingly and definitely helped, although it was possible to fly out of work for some things. More than once I went to forgery.

Once Oleg Mityaev - a performer without regalia, not a member of the Union of Composers, at that time a student of the Chelyabinsk Institute of Physical Education - sang a wonderful song with us own composition... And I, fearing that they would ask again when they saw an unfamiliar surname, a member or not a member of the Union, wrote in the program, which was viewed by the authorities before the broadcast: "Music of Pakhmutova, poems of Dobronravov, Oleg Mityaev sings." We looked: ah, Pakhmutova? It's good. And they let it on the air. Since the program was being recorded, we later wrote in the credits that the author and performer of the new song was Mityaev. I liked the song.

- How did you find television?

I came to work in 1972, 45 years ago. Entertainment programs there were very few. Big concerts- only on holidays. Now I think: maybe this is good! But there was a wonderful KVN. And later - Listyev's unforgettable programs, his favorite show "Around Laughter". And to the delight of intellectuals - "The obvious - the incredible", "Kinopanorama", "In the world of animals." In general, a lot of interesting things.

Then the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company was headed, according to rumors, by an odious person - Sergei Georgievich Lapin. There were legends about his tough disposition. But not everyone knew that he was an educated person, he knew poetry perfectly, he quoted many outstanding poets from memory - not only Pushkin, but also the forbidden Brodsky and Pasternak. Another thing is that Lapin was the head of a huge ideological structure. And this required a lot. Variety programs were also thoroughly tested for "ideological purity". For example, he constantly nagged at the lyrics. Once he demanded to remove the famous “Snowfall” by Alexey Ekimyan performed by Nani Bregvadze from “Song of the Year”. Clung to the line "If a woman asks." Listen, she says, what is she asking for? A woman should not be asking so persistently!

He also introduced a system of bans on individual artists and composers. Antonov, Dobrynin, Tukhmanov were not honored ... He said: "Let them sing in restaurants." Even such a seemingly patriotic song by Dobrynin as “ Motherland", Caused negative emotions. Say, the motive is not Russian, more like the Middle East, and the words are strange: "Dear, dear ..." Whom are we so persistently convincing that our Soviet land is dear to us? They tried to intercede, saying that the song was so popular that even drunkards would sing it. Here, he says, let the drunk sing and perform, but on television it is not necessary. For a long time, Slava Dobrynin did not manage to break through. Anna German helped, who performed his "White bird cherry".

With this famous song such a story came out. Lapin looked through everything holiday programs, and necessarily - "Wider circle". He was helped by a musical consultant - Nikita Bogoslovsky, who did not like Dobrynin. It was he who said that a certain Molchanova, not with anyone, but with Anna German, was recording Dobrynin's song "White bird cherry". Lapin is furious! His beloved singer, adored Herman, together with the hated Dobrynin and Molchanova, who needs something all the time, are doing chaos. He summoned me to break up, and from the doorway I declare: “Sergei Georgievich, there is such a story. Anya and I recorded a completely different song for the program "The song is far and close." And suddenly Anna told me that Slava Dobrynin brought her a wonderful "Bird cherry". The phonogram is already ready. And she asked to be given the opportunity to sing it. Sergei Georgievich, you understand, I could not tell our foreign artist that the composer Dobrynin does not enjoy the attention of television directors, that he is actually a forbidden composer in our country. How would she understand me? That's why I agreed. And we recorded - there was still a little studio time left. "

In fact, I asked in plain text: "Come on, Anya, we will record" Cheryomukha "- this will help the young talented composer."

Slava was persistent enough and even unceremonious when he wanted to please. Handsome, charming, he conquered everyone at once. And Anya and me. It's a matter of the past - we even had an affair with him.

- It turns out that he didn’t have to enter the “text of the song” separately?

I laughed, because Lapin told me then: “I heard Dobrynin runs around the editorial offices with a portfolio full of money, and gives money to all editors. Does he pay you too? " I say: “Sergei Georgievich, I did not receive money from Dobrynin. And he is not so generous as to give money away. He's even stingy. I think this is gossip about a portfolio. "
I recalled this episode in Malakhov's program "Let them talk." Slava was very offended by me. And he called at midnight and asked why I said that. Has brought me to hysteria. (Laughs.) But, objectively speaking, he was one of the brightest, as they say now, hitmakers. Now he writes almost nothing, but then his hits came out in clips. Only with their performance on TV and on the radio were, as I said, big problems.

- What else did Lapin fly in for you?

I remember such a case. For the splash screen of the program, we took new song Raymond Pauls to the poems by Ilya Reznik performed by the group "Ariel", it contained the following words: "Broader heart, wider our circle." They call from Lapin: "Olga Borisovna, come in!" Okay, that day I was unpainted and dressed appropriately. The chairman of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company was a conservative - no makeup, no trousers.

And that's what he asked me: “Do you know what happens when“ the heart is wider ”? Heart attack! Remove the song! " He was adamant - he had to look for another author. And then Yura Antonov wrote for us another song "Wider Circle", to the verses of Leonid Fadeev, and he was the first to perform it.

- By the way, who came up with the name of the program under which it existed for a quarter of a century?

I came up with it. main idea- multi-genre! Folklore, stage, circus, original genres, dance numbers. And at first the name "We sing and dance" was invented. But Lapin said: “I see ... So we sing and dance. And who will work? " I say: "And let's" Wider circle "?" Lapin accepted this. It also reflected the multinational composition of the participants. Who and where did not come to us! And for some time the program lived with this name. And suddenly one day Lapin said that he didn’t like the name. It sounds, they say, like a "hut-reading room". Rustic, rustic.

With Alexander Serov (1992). Photo: From the personal archive of Olga Molchanova

After some time, "Wider Circle" by a willful decision was renamed into "Welcome". For half a year the program ran under this unprepossessing name. And in those years letters played an important role. Send protests: return the old name. And then our editor-in-chief Kira Veniaminovna Annenkova went to Lapin and said bluntly: "If you fell asleep yesterday as Sergei Georgievich and woke up as Ivan Petrovich this morning, how would you feel?" He appreciated the wit. And the program - at the request of the workers - again began to be called "Wider Circle".

- Olga Borisovna, are you watching TV now? And how do you like what is happening on the screen?

I rarely look and see a lot of vulgarity. Irritating scandalous talk shows designed for undemanding taste. I would not want to go back to television, although I miss him. The level of many people who work there leaves much to be desired. It seems that these "creators" - I mean the editors - do not have not only musical, but generally no education. I'm not talking about intelligence, but at least there was a horizon! I confess that I have a plan to revive the beloved by the people “Wider Circle”. The program has been popular for twenty years! And even when the program continued its life on TVC, it enjoyed success for another ten years. People still ask me about her when they find out that I am a television person.

When I turned fifty, on the occasion of the anniversary I was given a prize on the Central Television, awarded with all sorts of certificates - and released from work. In connection with the reorganization of the Central Television, our edition of folk art was simply liquidated.

Everything is changing: it is possible that our historical program will begin a new, extraordinary life. Dreaming is not harmful!

How Russian stars celebrated the 40th anniversary of the "Wider Circle" program, the Sobesednik.ru correspondent observed.

The 40th anniversary of the "Wider Circle" program and the anniversary of its founder Olga Molchanova were celebrated on a grand scale in the concert hall under the presidential administration. There were so many stars wishing to congratulate Molchanova that the celebration dragged on until midnight. The fact that the program is alive and loved in the hearts of the audience became clear at once. In the hall, as well as behind the scenes, there was a full house. Olga Molchanova supervised the process, as in the good old days. - V recent times I often go abroad: both in Cyprus and in Israel, - said Olga Borisovna. - Everywhere I go, everyone asks me: “Why is the program not on the air? Where is our beloved Wider Circle? " I am always glad that the program is still so interesting. Probably due to the fact that I lived for work.

The producer of the evening and the author of the hits of Zhenya Belousov, the poetess Lyubov Voropaeva, behind the scenes, listed the stars that "Wider Circle" had opened. There were not enough fingers on my hands. By the way, Molchanov considers many celebrities to be his children. For example, Philip Kirkorov, who came to her audition thirty years ago. - I did not expect anything from him, - Olga Borisovna did not hide. - In the mid-80s, he came to me and sang. In terms of voice, the guys were stronger. But in terms of musicality, he had no equal. He sang Bulgarian songs and did not sing a single false note: everything is clean, sincere and very cordial. I immediately realized that this person could be useful. And when he became who he is now, I was very happy. Philip and I are still friends! Sasha Serov came to me too, but he was already a good singer. Zhenya Martynov brought it to me. I listened to Sasha and understood: he is a ready singer. He only needs a repertoire. And soon he had songs by Igor Krutoy.

Olga Molchanova, singer Igor Nadzhiev, poet Lyubov Voropaeva

Most of the stars discovered in Shire Krug came this evening as well. The performer of the hits "Almaz" and "Plantain-Grass" Alisa Mon recalled that it was thanks to "Wider Circle" that she was able to cope with the troubles of life that had happened in her life.
- Olga Borisovna Molchanova supported me at a time when I did not even expect, - admitted Mon.
- I then just broke up with my husband and thought that no one needed. And Olga Borisovna made me the host and gave me the opportunity to sing songs that I could not sing on any channel. This time the hosts of the evening were Ilona Bronevitskaya and Alexander Oleshko. The latter followed the order of the performances of the stars, who categorically did not want to leave the stage that evening.
- Olga Borisovna, how many songs should you sing? - he asked Molchanova. - Sasha, I give you permission to sing two! - laughing, she answered. - Malezhik has been singing for the third time! - the TV presenter shook his head. - Maybe you will somehow signal to him that it's time to finish! We still have so many numbers ahead!

Vyacheslav himself said backstage: recently he began to write books for children. But he does not like the modern stage.
“I'm not sure I'll watch Eurovision,” the singer complained. - After all, this is a song contest, and there is anything but a song! Costume competition, piano jumping, ice skating! This is a competition of frames, not pictures. As for Lazarev, he does not give rise to emotions in me ...

Alena Apina had fun talking with Igor Sarukhanov behind the scenes, recalling her participation in "Wider Circle". This year, changes happened in Alena's life: she became a director. The other day, the star presented the play "The Night Before the Exam", which she staged at the school where her daughter is studying. Prior to that, the singer taught music lessons at an educational institution. Judging by the blooming outward appearance, a new kind of activity gives her real pleasure. However, Apina is not going to leave the stage.
Legendary Sergei Zakharov for the first time in long years appeared at a national concert. In an interview with "Only the Stars", the singer admitted: he is not interested in parties. That evening Zakharov was in a great hurry and asked to rearrange his performance a few numbers ahead. It turned out that legendary singer- train.
- Everyone talks about the crisis, but I have plenty of concerts! - Zakharov boasted. - In January there were 17 performances, in February - more than twenty, in March - eighteen. I work all winter and rest in summer. I spend most of my time in Bulgaria, where I built a big house.

Immediately after the concert, the celebrities moved to a restaurant. Natasha Koroleva could not miss the feast. Thanks to the legendary program, she first appeared on central television.
On this day Natasha complained of allergies. Not without incidents. During the toast, Mikhail Muromov noticed that those around him were not listening. The singer urged to pay attention to him, but in vain. As a result, Mikhail screamed into the microphone several times, which terribly frightened the "mermaid". She was already startled by surprise.
“How many years have passed since the beginning of the program, and we, the artists, regret that we still lack that atmosphere of love so much today,” Katya Lel summed up.

Our interview, as befits early morning conversations in nightclubs, turned out to be erratic, but rough. Who's talking about whom - maybe you will understand if you read it. Leaning on the brandy, the singer was joking, then he seriously thought, then he began to get angry a little, not evil.
Vyacheslav Efimovich Malezhik was born on February 17, 1947 in Moscow. Graduated music school in the accordion class and the regional pedagogical school in the guitar class. He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Railway Transport, where he defended his diploma on "Cybernetic Synthesis of Music".
Malezhik's songs "Natashka" and "You don’t change anything" were very popular among student youth back in the late 60s. They were sung at halts of hiking trips, at evenings and student song contests. The fate of the young musician was decided by Alexander Maslyakov, who with his own hand deleted the song "Natashka" from the KVNschikov's repertoire, containing incriminating lines: "And girls without children have eyes like icons, they are sad." There was no sex in the country then ...
Vyacheslav Malezhik, who performed in the Mozaika ensemble, in collaboration with Yaroslav Kesler, managed to create a successful combination of elements of pop music, rock and song traditions Soviet stage... They were the ones who owned the first Russian-language version of the rock opera "Jesus Christ Superstar". Kesler made a translation from English, and Malezhik sang the part of Judas.
Since 1973 Malezhik has been working on the professional stage with the ensembles "Merry Boys" (with the participation of Alla Pugacheva), "Blue Guitars", "Flame". The first solo magnetic album - "Sacvoyage" - he recorded in December 1984. And in 1987, the Melodiya company released the singer's first vinyl disc - Cafe Sacvoyage. The touring activity began: full halls, the love of the viewer ...
Start of this interview- right off the bat, because my time had already passed, and the girl from the youth publication could not tear herself away from the "grandfather". Therefore, I just had to rush in to them and turn on the recorder in a half-phrase. Then, to his annoyance, she left. And this is what came of it ...

-… you know, to live with wolves is to howl like a wolf. But I better get off, I don't want to howl like a wolf in this wild TV market. And the obvious on-screen vulgarity, which is now in the solution of songs, is especially annoying. Only sometimes they turn out to be successful, but these successes are too rare. And I was insanely offended when they showed Misha Muromov, who sang a song that was far from the worst, in the first place. Secondly, a song that warmed the hearts of many of our parents, including, perhaps, those who made this program.
- What song?
- "I love you, life." And in the background, I remember, some half-drunk "pioneers" with bristles crimped with each other, while not removing the drum and horn. Someone, apparently, thought that this was the highest shocking in humor! I was insanely sorry for Misha Muromov and insanely sorry for many viewers. This humor was so vulgar that it was probably even insulting. Although, relatively speaking, if some abnormal person scolds me, then this should not bother me, because it is somewhere beyond the reasonable.
- But actually, keep an eye on all these "superstars"?
- Sometimes. In any case, I do not turn around in the middle of the road in order to have time to see it.
- Did you personally worry about any of the participants?
- No, actually. You see, those performers who participate there, they, by and large, have already proven everything. To me, in any case, one hundred percent. What can the NTV program about Lesha Glyzin open to me? I know its capabilities very well. I can only be glad for him, for his songs. But what they offer sometimes is just awful. Again, everything that concerns taste is very difficult to judge categorically. They may disagree with what I am saying. And another moment that does not allow me to be even more harsh: someone may say that Malezhik is not invited there, so he grumbles. Although I received a call from NTV.
I don’t know, maybe from some other program, but just hearing the word “NTV”, I told them that they shouldn’t worry.
- What is the reason for your rejection of this channel?
- On NTV they once made a program about the TV show "Shire Krug" - like a story about some such incorruptible woman. Olga Molchanova is the editor of Shire Krug, Katya Semyonova and I are the hosts with whom this program is still associated. We were all interviewed. I spent a day on it, for them. I was driving somewhere, telling something. And in the end they cut me out! At the same time, no one even apologized to me, they did not even think about it.
- You didn't get into the program at all?
- They left only a small fragment where I sing a song. And from what he was telling, they did not leave a word. They were interested in only one single story, it was really bitter and funny at the same time. Philip Kirkorov then led the program. He was only fourteen or fifteen years old. And he talked about these, how ... Ovechkin ... an ensemble of brothers from Irkutsk ...
- They were called "Seven Simeons". Which, under the leadership of their mother, then hijacked a passenger plane.
- Yes, thanks for the help. After the brothers played the number, Philip had a prepared phrase according to the script: “Darling ... I don’t remember her name exactly ... Polina Matveyevna (their mother), you must be watching TV now, and we are telling you that you can be proud of your children. You raised the real guys. May God give you a good flight in your life! " Only this Kirkorov blessing of the future bandits was left in the program.
And they began to ask Olga Molchanova something about Alexander Serov. And the camera was turned on. She then wondered: “I did not notice that there was a red light burning. And I say: “Serov? Yes, he is a horse with eggs! " And then, for the record, she talked about how musical he was. But in the end, only the "horse with the eggs" was left. Molchanova calls me: "Slava, I want to ask you for forgiveness." - "For what, Olya?" “Well, you weren’t shown.” - "Not shown - and thank God!" - “Can you imagine, but what did they set me up for? How could I say only about Serov that he is a horse with eggs? And I said it three times! Why did they disgrace me all over the country? "
- I wonder how things are with Katya Semyonova?
- What is she? She lives her own life.

Olga MOLCHANOVA, host of the music program of the TVC channel "Shire Krug":

The popular television music program of the TVC channel "Shire Krug" can rightfully be entered, if not in the Guinness Book of Records, then in the Russian "Divo" - for sure. Because in the history of TV there have never been such long-lived programs: without interruptions and "time-outs" on the eve of every Soviet (and now Russian) holiday, "Wider Circle" has appeared on our screens for ... already 30 years! Rumor has married the leading Katya Semenova and Vyacheslav Malezhik; it was in it that 16-year-old Dima Malikov, for the first time in the VIA "Gems", sang his solo song "Sunny City" and it was on this stage that young Philip Kirkorov first appeared on television with the song "Magdalena" ...

Olga Borisovna, who came up with the idea of the program - an association of amateur artists of different genres - from singers, dancers and parodists to acrobats and magicians?

This idea has long been in the depths of the editorial board " Folk art", which existed then on television. Since at first the program was filmed in the Ostankino studio, one or two popular artists were enough for us at the end of the program. And when we later moved to Luzhniki, it was necessary to somehow fill this huge hall. Therefore, we began to invite to" A wider circle is "much more" stars "whose names would attract the public.

As far as I know, not all of your "stars" were friendly. There were also ambitions ...

Yes, the episode, for example, with the singer Tatyana Markova, I still remember! It was on location shooting in Pyatigorsk. We were accommodated in the building of a beautiful sanatorium, and Tanya and her husband were given a junior suite. Igor Kornelyuk and Yaroslav Evdokimov lived in the same rooms ... There were only two "suites". Misha Muromov was accommodated in one together with his rather large team of musicians, and I occupied the other, because this "suite" was at the same time my home, and the press center, and the television headquarters of the program. You can imagine what was happening there: artists, administrators, cameramen, technical staff crowded from morning to night, cameras, boxes of films lay in all corners ... There were also workshops, after which people were right on the floor and spent the night, having finished editing footage shot per day. In general, the entrance courtyard! In addition, it was the only number with a telephone, which is simply necessary in such cases. But, apparently, Tanya was very close together with her husband in her "junior suite", and she, imagining herself a cool star, made a scandal for me, saying: "Either they move me to the" suite "- or I'll leave." It didn’t scare me at all - the program wouldn’t suffer in the least from its absence. I’m just a non-conflict person, I don’t like insults and showdowns during work - I had to give this number to her. Therefore, on trips I never live in "suites" - in order to avoid such conversations.

Each editor has the so-called "own" artists that they like. Who were "yours"?

- Editors of this or that program have their own artists for different reasons. In recent times, which has become extremely commercial and monetary, "theirs" are most often among those who pay. And who pays well - they become favorite artists. To be honest, I had very little faith that anything would come out of Philip. Yes, the external data were brilliant, plus the internal culture, musicality, but the vocals then were quite average. And I never imagined that a person, working on himself, would grow so vocal - he would just make a giant leap and become a very good pop singer. He is a rare person on our stage who possesses a complex of all the qualities that are necessary for a real pop artist. Among my favorites are Sasha Serov, and our "Belarusian nightingale" Yaroslav Evdokimov, with whom we have been friends for a very long time, and an amazingly talented musician, "Golden Accordion of Russia" Valery Kovtun, a charming person - he also first appeared in the "Shire Krug" program with so rare instrumental genre, which, in general, few people were interested in before.

Olga Borisovna, they say about you that you can determine the creative future of an artist without even seeing him, but simply by listening to a disc or cassette. This is true?

Composer Igor Matvienko once brought me a cassette with the words: "There is a new young group, listen!" I listened - and was stunned! These were "Ivanushki". Then I saw them at a concert and said to Igor: "Trust my words - it will be a bomb!" I just fell in love with these guys, and most of all with Igor Sorin, who seemed to me amazing in talent, depth and, in general, in his human charm. They conducted several "Wider Circle" programs, and I am glad that I predicted such a take-off for them.

By the way, do all the "chicks that flew out from under your wing" remember their "parent"?

Very few! That's about the only thing I can say, and I won't be mistaken, who always remembers me and says very kind words, mentions my name on CDs - this is Philip Kirkorov. Or in the Kremlin behind the scenes they filmed an interview with Sergei Mazayev. I sat a little to the side. Seeing me, he interrupted the conversation, emerged from under the camera, ran up, knelt in front of me, kissed my hand and said: "Olga Borisovna, dear! You are my godmother on television, I will never forget your kindness!" Although we filmed it only a couple of times - it was also, as it were, "banned" due to the fact that the very first songs were written by Dobrynin.
