Water is poured into the glass. Then add 1 spoonful of potato starch there and mix well. The water will then become white like milk. The next stage is the addition of iodine to the liquid. To do this, you can also use a spoon, or you can simply pour it into a glass from a bubble.

If everything is done correctly, the liquid in the glass will instantly turn purple.

Experience number 2 "Rainbow in a glass"

For experience you will need:

• water;

Precautionary measures:

The dots should be placed close to each other and protrude to the other side of the strip. In order to get a rainbow, the colors must go in a known order. After this simple manipulation, the rainbow on the paper will begin to rise rapidly upward.

Experience number 3 "Flying porridge"

For experience you will need:

• balloon;

Experience progress:

Pour oatmeal in a thin layer onto a plate. Inflate the balloon and tie it. Now three ball on hair. We do it well and diligently. Fill a transparent vase 2/3 with water. Further, one of the children is invited to dip 1 orange into a container of water to check whether it drowns or not. The orange, as you can imagine, will float to the surface. Further, the young experimenter is invited to remove all the peel from the same orange and put it back into the vase (suddenly the citrus does not want to swim dressed). When the peel is removed and the fruit has gone into the water, you can see how it goes to the bottom. So, we continue to experiment further. Take another orange and remove only 2/3 of the peel from it. You will need:

• 3 tall glasses;
• 3 glass rods;
• water;
• vegetable oil (preferably unrefined).

Experience progress:

At the beginning, ordinary water is poured into one of the glasses. A glass rod is placed in the same container, and everyone present can see it. Further, vegetable oil is poured into the second glass and a stick is also lowered. Everything seems to be the same as during the first stage of the experiment, except for one thing: in the oil, the stick becomes invisible. The kids will love it. And in order to consolidate the result, it is necessary to pour half of the water into the third glass, and then pour the same amount of oil on top. Due to the different density of liquids in the glass, the border between them will be clearly visible. And when the last stick is lowered into this container, only its middle part will remain invisible.

7 children can demonstrate the experience at the same time. At the beginning, all plastic glasses are put on the table in one line. Next, a small amount of food coloring of a different color is poured into each of them in the order they go in the rainbow. For the next step, add 4-5 tablespoons of dish detergent to each of the glasses. You don't have to bother and pour it on the eye. Now pour 1 tablespoon of soda into each container. And now is the time for a thorough stirring. Mix the resulting mass quickly and intensively. When this part of the work is completed, we proceed to the final stage: at the same time pour 50 ml of vinegar into all the glasses. A reaction occurs instantly and a bright and light colored foam will pour out of the cups. If the children really like the spectacle, you can gradually add vinegar to the container and thereby prolong this colored eruption.

Experience number 7 "Unusual cocktail"

Inventory:

• dishwashing liquid;
• water;
• vegetable oil;
• alcohol;
• tumbler.

Precautionary measures:

1. This cocktail must not be drunk.
2. To avoid unwanted reactions to strong odors, it is best to do the experiment with a gauze bandage.

Experience progress:

First, the glass is filled with honey to 1/6 of its volume. Dishwashing detergent is added in the same amount. After it, ordinary water is carefully added. Next turn vegetable oil... This should be done slowly and in a thin stream, so as not to damage the rest of the layers. In conclusion, we pour alcohol, after which the result is shown to those present and a comment is given on how the different density of substances helps them not to mix.
